“This is a small, local bar that is playing sports on a few TV's which I guess makes it a sports bar. But give it a chance. The owner was extremely nice and yet was bantering with the locals like a salty sailor. The wings were surprisingly good, their house sauce was spicy and tangy. And the locals were also friendly. This is not a chain place, but if you want a beer and good wings this is the place to go.“

“My husband and I went for the first time here on Wednesday evening...our female server (dont remember her name) but she was very friendly and quick with everything...we got chips and salsa and tacos.. everything tasted amazing!.. 10/10....and all under 30 bucks! a great deal we will definitely be coming back to try something new or I'll probably get more tacos :)“

“it was not the great experience I thought it would be, but for anyone on. a budget this palace serves enough per plate to feed an army. I am at KUMed, so taste buds are way off but everything seemed so salty. they also had no recall of my soda which I ordered online because it red soda. when my son came back with diet whatever I almost flipped him over. Maybe that's the swelling of the brain???🤔🤔🤔 regardless, my favorite husband has had a black and blue burger several times and he loves them. I get the feeling it's a dine- in kind of place.“

“Decided to try Christine's today. I'm so glad we did. Chiefs were playing and had just gotten a touchdown as we walked in the door. The house interrupted into cheers and claps. I couldn't resist to bow & wave while thanking everyone for the grand welcome. They all laughed and greeted us with welcoming comments. So much fun. The atmosphere is amazing! I'm sure the game had a role in that, but I loved it. Kevin, our server was excellent. So friendly, attentive, helpful... just wonderful. It was our 36th anniversary and just wanted to find a place with good Bloody Mary's & food. We weren't disappointed. Hubby had a GIGANTIC tenderloin & said it was great. I loved the fried cauliflower and the great BBQ pulled pork sammich. It's a small homey place but those are the best kind of places in my opinion. Also we love that it is fire service related. “Found this place completely by accident & will definitely be going back deliberately! Food & service were amazing. We got there at 9:30pm & had freshly cooked to order food & smiles with quick attentive friendly service.

“Moe was amazing! She handled the entire bar/restaurant by herself on a Chiefs Sunday! She served everyone's drinks and food, cleaned up everywhere, wiped off tables if spills or anything happened, cashed out everyone tabs, literally did everything by herself! And she made it look easy, which we all know but that could not have been easy! I really appreciate her and her hard work!

“Date night. Great place to go. Huge selection of drinks and awesome food. I had a salad with salmon that was one of the vest salads i have ever had and my boyfriend had a bourbon burger and said it was "perfect". We had the loaded spud app and shared the pretzel dessert....the best beginning and ending we could want. Our server, Heather, was so sweet and talked us through a lot of our options. She was super attentive. We will definitely be heading back!“

“If you are a biker, stay away. The owner tells the help not to serve you. Turned about 50 of us away so we went to twin peaks. Greeted w open arms. This isn't the first time we've tried going there on the bikes both times we were asked to not be served, loudly across the bar“

“We were staying overnight at The Fairfield Inn, and The Summit Grill was recommended to us for a dinner location. We were pleasantly surprised at the deliciously amazing food, quick service, and also our attentive waiter, Travis. I highly recommend the Traditional Pot Roast, and my husband recommends the Chicken-Fried Chicken. If we are in Gladstone again, we will defintely return.“

“What a fantastic place. Tv's everywhere. Comfy booths to sit in. Service was fantastic. I tried the Barbq Burger and sweet potatoes fries. The fries came with a marshmallow sauce. The Burger was delicious and huge. My wife had a grilled chicken wrap and onion rings. She loved it. She also had two margaritas. She said the drinks were fantastic. I loved the cups they brought the water in. Kept everything ice cold. The only con would maybe be the parking. I could see it being a little tight on a busy time. Can't wait to come back.“

If you go on a night that poutine is on the menu…do NOT miss out because they serve the best poutine fries I’ve ever had! There is a even a pool table here if you enjoy playing pool.

“A friend and I met for Happy Hour at Lew's the other day, and we had a marvelous time!
Our server was Sara P, who was truly awesome. Despite being the sole server (and bartender!), Sara was friendly, welcoming and efficient. She guided us through the menu (as it was our first time visiting the establishment), gave us great recommendations on menu choices, and checked back with us frequently throughout the meal. She was genuinely interested in ensuring we had a good time, and I really appreciate her!
The food was EXCELLENT--I had the Southwest Egg Rolls and my friend had the Nachos, and both of our meals were delicious! The kitchen did a nice job in preparing them quickly, and the presentation was lovely.
Lew's is a homey, hospitable place; the seating is comfortable, and there's just enough space around the booths, tables, and bar so that we felt cozy without feeling closed-in.
