“Really enjoyed this place. Drove by on a family day to the museum and ended up eating here. Atmosphere is great and food is delicious. Many options such as burgers, tacos, seafood, and more. Great spot for family lunch or even a date night.“
“Mobile cafe with shaved ice has been located in Macken Park parking lot since summer 2019. It's located by the handball courts and has several tables and comfy outdoor chairs. Many flavors for the shaved ice. Good assortment of espresso and coffee items brewed fresh. Vegan pastries from Mudpie. Wife and I stopped by for coffee while walking at the park. Excellent cappuccino and wife had a good mocha. If you hear music, they are open.“

“I happened to find this while I was driving through Kansas City. I saw the amount of people in the restaurant and knew this must be a good place to eat. I stoped and was very happy with my choice. The food was fantastic and the service was quick and pleasant.“

“Where do I begin. I’ll start with the staff. The young lady that was our waitress was so sweet and kind. The food is top notch. I had the shrimp mofongo and it was outstanding! The fried and mashed plantains with the chicharrones which gave it such a nice crunch to the dish. The atmosphere was such a good vibe.“

“Came here for my brothers birthday & it was good! We got a variation of things, but to name a few, we ordered the crab rangoon, pad Thai, and seafood fried rice. All tasted great along with the fruit punch! Service was spectacular. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. My only complaint would be that it has limited seating if you're going with a large group, but other than that, overall, it's a great place!“

“I loved this random(but always vegan) choice of where to eat while driving through the area. The name struck me cool when it popped up on my Google search for vegan restaurants nearby. Excellent rating. Was a no brainer.Totally wowed by all the factors when I walked in, ordered, waited, and ate. The food was exceptional. Perfect. It sets an unreachable bar. I had the Frito Burrito and Buffalo Cauliflower with possibly the best Buffalo and Ranch Dips ever. Left happy full with plenty of leftovers. From one tree hugger to Tree Hugger, thank you, it was delish, I love your homey place. Y'all deserve awards.“

“We had Garozzo’s cater our rehearsal dinner at Boulevard Brewing. From the very beginning they were extremely helpful getting the entire dinner together. They held a tasting at their restaurant downtown, where we were able to sample a lot of their different courses on their catering menu. This was a great way to find exactly what we wanted for our rehearsal dinner. The food was absolutely fantastic and they were constantly in touch with us through the entire process. They kept us up to date through the event. We highly recommend Garozzo’s to anyone needing any event catered.“

“Loved their great, unique selection. The line moves quickly and there a couple picnic tables that turn over quickly. The mango chamoy was good, liked the bourbon butter pecan and always can double down on cookies and cream. Go for the waffle bowl - it's buttery and you can smell it being cooked down the block!“

“Went to Blue for Mother’s Day. It’s my favorite sushi restaurant for all the fun, vegan, non-raw options they have. Highly recommend the Cowgirl, Prince, and Thai Hippie rolls! Our server, Chance, was attentive, professional, and friendly. Would sit in his section again!“

“We had only been to Rockhille Grilel once before and didn't have a great experience. Buuuut, we decided to give it another try during their Happy Hour. I got their Bruschetta and it was the BEST I've ever eaten and so delightfully plated. Simple, yet classic. Our server, Trevor was EXCELLENT. The Rockhill Grille will DEFINITELY be on our, "regular" list“

“My wife ordered Jon's Denver omelet and requested spinach instead of the peppers. No problem with the substitution. Omelet was done just the way she prefers. I ordered the corned beef hash with eggs over easy. I also added an order of toast just so I could get the raspberry spread. Corned beef hash was a standard in my parents' home. I hadn't eaten it since I graduated college in 1968 and left home. My mom's version was really good, but Homegrown's was exponentially bette r. Brooklyn was our server. She was pleasant and attentive without being intrusive. A diverse menu of well prepared and presented food with first-rate service at reasonable prices.“

“Excellent Italian spot, I'd say one of the best in KC. You won't see "alfredo" on the menu, this place is authentic. Some of the best grilled shrimp I've ever had. Great happy hour, and I want to make it here for brunch sometime. I would say I prefer Ragazza to it's Mediterranean-flair sister restaurant Enzo in City Market.“

“First time trying. Love the atmosphere. My husband and I both got brownie sundaes, unfortunately I did not like the brownies, and didn’t finish them. But the carrot cake ice cream was good. We both agreed that if we came back, we would do ice cream by itself.“

“We’re just passing through, but this little spot is so cute, they don’t offer lattes or cappuccinos but coffee station is accommodating they have half and half, oat milk, honey, raw sugar, stevia. I had their smoked salmon toast with poached egg I asked to add tomatoes they used pickled tomatoes surprisingly it was very delicious. Atmosphere is very casual, laidback.“

“The sea salt dusted mocha chip cookie is amazing. The cappuccino was equally good. My only “complaint” is, why ask me if my order is to go or here. When I answer, “I’m going to savor the cookie and coffee here”, please don’t put the cookie in a paper bag and the coffee in a paper cup. I feel like I’ve been given a doggie bag. I am a guest in your place of business, and I’ve come in to relax, recharge and enjoy some quiet time; instead I felt rushed, drained and overwhelmed by the loud music.“

“My wife and I are here last night. The food was amazing. I had the combo gyros with fries and she had the kabob with rice. I tasted her rice and I don’t think that I’ve ever had rice that good before. We would definitely eat here again.Dietary restrictions: Are you gluten free? They have many options that you can have altered for that. With the hummus and pita… they’ll give you vegetables (we had tomatoes slices and cucumber slices).“

“First of all not only was the food delicious but the service was on point as well. From what I saw the place was very clean and so were the restrooms. I do wish they gave a few more options like pulled pork mac and cheese, but everything was fine when I come through Westport again I will definitely stop by char-bar.Vegetarian options: There is a special section in the menu for those that are vegetarians and vegans.Wheelchair accessibility: There was very accessible sea sitting especially to the people that have disabilities, handicapped and special needs.“

“Absolutely love Brewers Kitchen. Staff is extremely friendly, local beer selection is fantastic and the food is nothing short of amazing. Ive had just about every thing on the menu in the last 6 months of visiting and have never been disappointed. Their house made Honey Mustard is exceptional and wish I could buy gallons of it for back home it's that good. The food really is the star of the show, you can tell nothing is frozen and everything is fresh and made to order. If you want the best burger in KC, you need to come in to Brewers Kitchen.“

“I woke up with a Jones for a cinnamon roll. Knew Anita's was there, but had never been, so I rolled up. It maybe the biggest mistake of the day. The cinnamon roll is so good. It's going to be difficult for me to avoid going into the shop every morning. Now for the die hard it's actually not a traditional rolled up roll. It's more like a cinnamon roll center- like you don't have to fight the outside tough edge to get to the heart of the rolls- this is all cinnamon roll heart!!! it is fantastic. Taste texture just like a cinnamon roll but without the hard outer layer!!! The entire thing is like the center part of a cinnamon roll. I will definitely be back for these. I also want to try the quiche, the pop tarts and the stuffed rolls!!!“

“So so so good! I am in KC all the time but discovered this place through Yelp, and I was not disappointed. We got one hot and one cold specialty sandwiches and they were fire, the Dutch Crunch Bread is a game-changer. I personally think the hot sandwiches are the way to go, it makes the bread very satisfying to eat! Service was a tad slow when we were there but it was busy so I don't blame them. I think they had forgotten one of our orders but they quickly made it once we reminded them! Love the ambiance, the place is huge. There's also a cafe in the same building which would be great if you're craving a coffee!“
“Great tour! Very informative and interesting. They give you 2 5 oz beers along the way and then 2 more after where you get a wide variety of choices of lots of drinks. I am not a beer drinker but still had a great time. At the end I found drinks that were great and not beer. Totally worth the $10.“

The fresh bread, the mussels in broth, the spinach salad, the most amazing roasted carrot and turnip soup, and of course the classic chicken and vegetable pot pie. “I have been to many Tapas restaurants as they are my favorite kind of places to eat and this one was, by far, the very best! The food was ALL incredible and came out quickly after ordering. Usually at tapas places there are some dishes that are just "ok" but here...every single dish waa great! Our waitress was amazing, even providing recommendations (like getting whipped feta with the stuffed dates which ended up being one of the best things I've ever eaten)! The atmosphere is cute and cozy and perfect for a Spanish restaurant. Love the wall decor and all the pillows on the benches. We live in St. Louis and are already planning a trip back for a special occasion! Highly highly recommend. Definitely 5 stars in my book!“

“You know this is my favorite place. But Ubering or calling in really sucks. I ordered a BLT and got a really thin piece of lettuce. Whenever o order extra stuff. I never get my moneys worth. Except 1 time. I ordered fruit with the kids meal. I got holindaise sauce. IJS. I probably should just dine in. I can’t get the order taken right or my food prepared right. If so just do order anything extra. Especially through Uber or Dood dash. 5 ⭐️ if eating in.Vegetarian options: There are options“

“This weekend my boyfriend and I were wanting some Birria tacos. We found GG's Barbacoa Cafe on Yelp. I'm so glad we decided to stop in. The service was great. “The fix has become my partner’s and my favorite place to go to when we visit Kansas City. They’re open hours during the day when other restaurants are closed which has consistently driven our business to them, and we’ve been glad it has because their food has been SO good each time we’ve been there, both their daily specials and from their regular menu. Their portions are generous but not ridiculous and again I can’t mention enough times, their food is great. The food has also been served to us quickly each time, even when they’ve been busy, and we’ve been there I think about 4 times now. I highly recommend this place, especially if you love delicious vegan food.“

“Everything was good. The food. The Atmosphere. The Service. The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star rating is because their has to be an explanation on why 2 casamigos Blanco shots cost a total of $23 & it wasn't a full shot. Other than that it was a great time. I'll be back in the future!“

“Adorable Swiss-style cafe. Delicious Swiss-style chocolates and restaurant. Hours are limited, but probably the best quiche I have EVER had. Their prix fixe lunch menu is the best: a drink, entrée, two sides and dessert for $19.25. They have this carrot salad that's incredible (you can buy a bottle of the dressing in the shop part) and the beets are amazing too. Also their fresh lemonade is incredible and their hot chocolate is to die for. They also have a small. well curated beer and wine list now too (and happy hour!). You can get packaged food to-go as well, individual cold meals or whole quiches and quarts of soup. Never had anything bad here and they do a lot of fun collaborations with other local businesses, like limited run BBQ quiches with Joe's KC burnt ends or J. Reiger's chocolate shots. In years past they've also collaborated with Betty Rae's ice cream for some incredible flavors (like chocolate covered almond ice cream). You can find their products in lots of local businesses too, like Whole Foods or The Roasterie. BEST chocolate covered almonds I've ever had. This used to be the Swiss Consultant as well in KC, and is a mainstay in the city.“

“Pho was good and priced about right compared to other Vietnamese places in town. Came out in a reasonable amount of time too. Service wise, I was left alone during my meal. It's common that I'm asked how my meal is or if I need anything, but no one spoke to me after taking my order and I didn't get any water refills either. The place was about 85% full when I was there.“

“We've been coming to Swagat for so many years, I don't even remember when we started. After the pandemic, as we've cut back to reading out once a week, Swagat has become our favorite Sunday tradition. “I was not expecting this place to be so big when I first walked in. I hadn’t really paid attention to the size of the building, as I was just concerned with figuring out where to turn to park and get to the place. The first time I tried to go, I was on the opposite side of Armour and had reached the point where there is a “median” or sorts and couldn’t turn left to get there. That’s the only “downside” to the location, but there is a great parking lot behind the building (which you can access before the previously mentioned median) so once you figure out where that is you’re solid! ?Of course great food as with all locations. Super quick service. The building is beautiful, fun and clean inside. Seriously so glad to have this place in the area!Parking: There’s plenty of parking available. Just be sure to turn into the parking lot behind the building if you’re traveling west on Armour! Or you can turn on Clay street and circle around I suppose.“
