“PROs: Quaint and intimate setting/location; like the small town feel. Plenty of seats. Friendly service provided by our waitress, Stephanie. Food is good. Coffee was great too. Clean establishment.CONs: Parking can be problematic depending on the time of day.I find this place to be better than Corner Cafe or Cracker Barrel.“

“Longboards is such a unique restaurant. I'm lucky to have locations near home and work so I can get my fix anytime. Quick and easy for take-out and great atmosphere for dine-in.Vegetarian options: Meat can be excluded and/or substituted for veggies in any of their wraps and bowls.“

“I couldn't help but notice a review about 13 or 14 down the list here from back in July from a Katie Lee. Because you thought it was necessary to write and post such a childish and scathing review of your horrible experience at this establishment that clearly has It out for you and your family blah blah blah. I felt the need to tell you to go get fucked and get struck by lightning or eaten by sharks...... reminded me why I moved away from liberty years ago and occasionally go back for things like a nice laid back well served lunch on the square. And that's about it...“

“My wife and I had a standing Tuesday night date, we probably went 40 times a year for about five years. Service was great, two fer tacos were an excellent value, and we made a lot of memories there. She passed away last year, and I’ve been there twice since. I always order her a frozen margarita no salt, and leave it sitting on the table when I leave! I miss you, Jamie!“

“Love it! My first time trying this restaurant, as well as African cuisine as whole; definitely first-timer friendly. The owner was super nice and took my call ahead order; she even gave me advice to make sure I understood the menu, as I told her what I was I was new to trying African cuisine. I ordered Egusi Soup w/Goat and Fufu, as well as a side of Jollof Rice and Chicken. When I came to pick up the order, I met the owner and she was super sweet and gave great customer service. The food was definitely full of flavor and smelled/tasted phenomenal! The area it's located in is a little creepy at night, but definitely worth the drive.“

“Some of the best Indian around. Very friendly service. Great dessert. Try the buffet when it is offered. A little pricey but worth it. Naan is NOT included like a lot of Indian Restaurants. There is free Chai Tea. The Chicken Masala is SO good. The dish they bring it out in makes it look like it’s a small portion but I can’t finish it most of the time and always walk away very full. The desserts I have tried are also great.Vegetarian options: Yummy wife would remember better. Butternut Squash with choice of type of sauce. Tofu is an option with types of sauce. I think there are others.Dietary restrictions: My wife has asked for coconut milk instead of dairy milk and they never hesitate she gets the butternut squash masala with coconut milk instead of the chicken masala. She loves it.Parking: Shopping center parking lot. Never had issues with parking.Kid-friendliness: Family run business. Have brought all seven of my children and they have never seemed concerned like some restaurants. We did a birthday for one of our children here.Wheelchair accessibility: First floor. Parking lot has handicap parking with ramps to the sidewalks. There would be tables or booths that would accommodate wheelchairs.“

“this was my first time in. I ordered a French dip and tomato soup online. As soon as I entered the store I was greeted and he asked if I had an online order and it was done very quickly. I can't get over how delicious it was. The soup was good, but the French dip was out of this world. I will definitely be back!“

Salads are AWESOME! Cheesy garlic bread is really good, too.Parking: If their lot is full, there's tons of parking all around.Kid-friendliness: VERY kid-friendly. Booths, tables, and high-tops; clean bathrooms; kind and patient staff; fun artwork; stickers!! And tons of food choices.“

“We were visiting KC and wanted an early lunch. We looked up halal restaurants close by and this popped up. After seeing the low amount of Google reviews we thought let’s try with zero expectations. We walked in and asked the owner at the counter what he recommended, he said lunch was too early to serve at 11am and he recommended getting breakfast, and he’ll serve us what he had. Told us to try the chai also. We agreed and were delighted. The chai was spicy and hot, the ginger in it was something we never had, it was good. For breakfast we got the meat stew with injira was pretty good, heavy but delicious.I can see why people may not like the service or have high expectations. My advice is to just try it, be patient and change your views on how you think a restaurant should operate. The food is delicious…. Just soak up the environment and culture“

“My wife ordered Jon's Denver omelet and requested spinach instead of the peppers. No problem with the substitution. Omelet was done just the way she prefers. I ordered the corned beef hash with eggs over easy. I also added an order of toast just so I could get the raspberry spread. Corned beef hash was a standard in my parents' home. I hadn't eaten it since I graduated college in 1968 and left home. My mom's version was really good, but Homegrown's was exponentially bette r. Brooklyn was our server. She was pleasant and attentive without being intrusive. A diverse menu of well prepared and presented food with first-rate service at reasonable prices.“
