A nice little restaurant in the downtown area of Kansas City with the objective of running a business in a eco-friendly manner. Along the way, they provide good tasting food with smiling faces. As one approaches the restaurant, one will notice the nicely designed patio which has a charming little vegetable garden. The grocery store which is inside the restaurant offers hard to find items such as grains, seeds, relishes, pickles, jams, etc., and a few meat items.
Howard's is an extremely cute place to have lunch.Parking like always in downtown is extremely cumbersome, but there is about 5 or so areas near the resturant. Once you find parking walking into the resturant is refreshing as you get to walk through a garden area where Howard's grows some of what they sell. Exceptional experience that exceeded our expectations. The greens and eggs were garden fresh, (picked today), and absolutely delicious. The music was outstanding! We felt transported to a more charming place and time - but in reality, we were here in Kansas City. (Apparently, we are cosmopolitan!)What talent! We felt so fortunate and blessed to be invited to attend the Garden Concert tonight. 5*
