“I stopped by Dunkin around 8:30 AM for a quick breakfast and ordered a medium iced caramel latte with a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel. The coffee was smooth and had a nice caramel flavor without being too sweet. The bagel sandwich was warm, filling, and tasted fresh. My order was ready pretty quickly even though there was a small line, and the staff was friendly and efficient. The store was clean and organized, and I was able to get my breakfast without waiting too long. Overall, it was a solid visit and a convenient place to grab coffee and a quick breakfast.”

“This was an important dinner, my son who is 26, had surgery(had his tonsils removed) a couple days ago, and The recovery is described as one of the worst, and it feels like shards of glass in your throat.he has to eat soft food and he had Choices all over the Kansas City metro area. He chose Joe’s, Joe’s mac & cheese to be exact! We live on the Missouri side (Gladstone). So I decided to stop by this evening, and not only get a quart of mac & cheese for him, I grabbed dinner for myself (z-man w/ fries, ribs w/ red beans and rice, Mac and cheese) which I was reluctant to do, due to me having to drive 35 minutes home and I was worried that it was going to be Soggy and cold, Well, much to my surprise, the food was packed perfectly, my food was still hot, and my fries were still crispy! Thank you Joe’s in Leawood you did amazing! I will probably be back in the next couple of days to purchase more Joes mac & cheese! BTW this son of mine recommends Joes to everyone!! “Went to Barbacoa, 5500 Troost, for brunch Sunday morning, what a delightful experience. I ordered Monie’s plate. It was mouthwatering. The serving was so generous, that I took half of it home. The corn tortillas were soft and warm enough to make a taco, the beans were flavorful and not spicy, the carnitas were fall apart tender and very tasty, perfectly fried potatoes, and fluffy scrambled eggs. The salsa was very tasty and not overly spicy. The coffee was even tasty (Costco Kirkland medium roast). Unlike some breakfast restaurants, the background music was so low and mellow (helps with digestion), I could hear my friends talk. We have to go back during the week for dinner. UPDATE - I forgot one very important thing, the service was excellent. Our group was one of two in the restaurant, but shortly afterwards other start to arrive. There was only one friendly waitress, who, despite the growing crowd, was able to get back to us about more coffee and to check on us”

“Stopped here for breakfast before leaving KC - so worth it! The cinnamon roll, gooey butter cake, and breakfast hash were delicious! This place was highly recommended and I can see why. The hot mocha latte I got was great too! The place was packed and busy but they weee FAST on getting food and drinks out.”

“We accidentally stumbled across the Black Garlic while looking for someplace to eat near the Uptown Theater. What a WONDERFUL discovery we made. Starting with the atmosphere, which had such a cool, sleek vibe. We had the pleasure of having Monica and Terry serve our table. They gave wonderful drink recommendations, and the drinks were outstanding and beautiful. The food… I had the Crab Cakes which were some of the best I have had. My husband enjoyed a dish called Giya which was a pork shoulder with a black mushroom rice. And our friend had the shrimp tibs. All of us were floored at how delicious our food was. We have already recommended to several friends and this is definitely a place we will keep coming back to! This experience was 10/10!”

“My husband and I decided to drop by for some lunch and we were quite content :) The atmosphere of the restaurant is cute and colorful, while the service friendly and prompt. I ordered the Sumac Chicken Kabob after asking the waitress for a recommendation and my husband ordered the Arayes and fries. They were both flavorful and a good portion size. We would definitely come back when we get another chance!”
