“I went to Swifts this past Sunday , May 25 around 3 in the afternoon... I met with one of my dear friends and when I tell you, the atmosphere, the cocktails, the food and the service from Ms. Gina was all EXCEPTIONAL!!! Richard and Sheila Swift (The Owners ) were so nice and approachable, I will definetly be going back...very soon!!!“

“Kansas City is known barbecue however the fried fish game in KC is on point as well. I have had all of them, and this is the best in my opinion. Hot sauce not even needed.“

“The food was great but I wouldn’t come here on an evening of you want good service. My husband and I did a tasting tour near by and wanted something to eat before we headed back to the Air BnB. Immediately you could tell how the experience was going to be when we didn’t order drinks right away and didn’t see our server again for about 15 minutes. She was very obviously more interested in paying more attention to customers that ordered drinks right away. She didn’t give her name otherwise I would I mention here. We only got one water and she didn’t come back to us again. We went to go to the hostess to try to pay our bill, ended up stopping her as she was leaving the bar. I give 2 stars out of 5. That’s only because the food was really good. I don’t think I would come back here. Maybe during the day would be better but I don’t know if I’d come here again anyway.“

“Had the cheese fries and they were awesome! Cheese sauce was flavorful (not the same old cheese sauce that others use). The fries stayed crunchy even with the sauce over them. Also had a bacon/cheeseburger that was very flavorful. And of course the giant hot wings. Their homemade blue cheese dipping sauce was very good, not overpowering. Great service even though it got crowded. I Highly recommend!“

“Today, I experienced a level of kindness in the drive-thru that truly brought me to tears.
I placed my order, and when the lady taking my order told me the total for both orders, I realized I needed to check my card to see if I had enough money. When I saw my balance, I knew I couldn’t afford both, so I asked her to take one of the orders off.
She said okay, took my card, and charged me for one order. But when she handed me my food at the drive-thru window, she gave me both orders — even the one I had taken off because I couldn’t pay for it. She said, “Here’s your order. You have to eat too.”
That touched my heart more than she probably even knows. At that exact moment, I had honestly been wondering what I was going to eat and where I was going to get food from. Her kindness was not small to me. It was a true blessing.
I am a business owner myself, and I understand what it means to serve people every day. I do my best to be a light and a leader in the world, but right now I’m going through a difficult season. Life has been life-ing, and today her compassion felt like confirmation that God is still working in my favor and that the universe is still on my side.
She was truly an Earth angel for me today. God sees her heart, and I pray that her business is blessed in every way. When I am in a better position and my business grows the way I know it will, this is the kind of business and person I would love to pour back into.
And on top of all of that, the food looks absolutely amazing and tastes amazing too. You can tell it was made with care, and that made the blessing feel even more special.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your compassion, generosity, delicious food, and humanity. You did more than give me a meal today. You reminded me that there are still good people in this world.“

“Just ate at the 78th and State location. Food was delicious. I had the 8 piece whole wings special for $8.99 and side order of livers. The breading is not heavy and both the wings and livers were nice and crispy. The wife had the tenders combo and the tenders were a good size. She liked the taste and lite batter. Will definitely go back. I need to try the fish. Other customers raved about the fish. Staff were very nice and friendly. They cook your food to order so expect to wait. Definitely worth the wait in my opinion.“

“The service is excellent; the beautiful lady at the drive thru window always has a smile...The food is always, hot and fresh cooked; the wings are succulent, many flavors and the tenders and fish are tasty perfection. They are busy but definitely worth the wait ! Best wings in Kansas City !!! And don't forget Shelley's Summer Breeze !!“

“I have not been to spot in awhile but it doesn't disappoint. Drive thru order , meal was very well priced , the lady taking the order very nice, inside looks very clean . Chicken was amazing, crispy and not oily. Biscuits were perfect and not dry at all and the sides coleslaw and the mash potatoes and gravy the best . Overall experience perfection ! Thank you! Keep it up. Will be back soon .“

“I ordered the whole meat calzone it was delicious it was large enough to share but ended up eating it all myself and the dill in the buttery crust topping with the sprinkling on top is really good not sure what it is but it's worth getting and it's a great price as well also friendly staff The gentleman at the register had my order waiting for me when I arrived at the register“

“Did not like the fact that my jumbo shrimp was missing half of each. My fish and mozzarella sticks were also half portioned. My mushrooms were overly mushy. Altho I didn't ask, there was lemon pepper seasoning on EVERYTHING (which made it hard to get the original flavors of the food). The king combo burger was the only highlight of my purchase. There also was no bathrooms“

“Very nice staff, they truly have a friendly neighborhood vibe. What stood out was the bartender took one look at my ID and started using my name every time they talked to me. It felt nice and polite. I was thanked (by I’m assuming the owner) on my way out for stopping in. It’s the little things like this that keep small businesses in business.“

“We are usually welcomed ‘back’ by the staff. My husband looks for reasons to go to Walmart with me so we can eat at Charley's. Although he has been known to go without me. We often stop after our bicycle ride. The food is always as ordered. The food especially the fries are hot. The tables and restaurant are clean.“
