“We were passing thru and staying at Best Western Premier. The desk clerk recommended Conrad’s! We went there and so glad we did! Claire was our waitress and she was amazing! Hubby has allergies and she went back twice to make sure he was ok!! We shared the Blue Chips appetizer…with a couple cold ones. OMG….they were soooo good! We had regular BBQ sauce instead of Buffalo. Amazing! And you get so much!! Definitely enough to share! Then we both ordered the grilled chicken wrap with ranch dressing. That also was so very good! I brought 1/2 of mine back to motel for breakfast in the morning. For a side I had steamed broccoli which was excellent. Hubby had the mixed vegetables. It is a casual but nice place!! Claire was awesome and so was the food!“

“Here’s aI recently visited Slim Chickens and had a pretty mixed experience. I always try to give places a fair shot, especially when they have a good reputation for fresh food and variety. I will say upfront — the food was fresh. You can tell it wasn’t sitting under a heat lamp all day. The chicken was hot, the fries were crisp, and everything came out in a reasonable amount of time. So credit where it’s due on freshness and speed of service.

However, the biggest issue for me was the lack of seasoning on the chicken itself. The chicken tasted like it was cooked plain, with no real seasoning or flavor in the breading. It felt like they rely heavily on their sauces to carry the flavor instead of properly seasoning the meat. Without sauce, the chicken is honestly pretty bland. It almost feels like you’re eating naked cooked chicken that’s just been fried and then covered in sauce afterward. If you’re someone who loves bold, well-seasoned chicken straight out of the fryer, this might disappoint you.

The sauces are definitely doing the heavy lifting here. Once you dip the chicken, it tastes better — but that shouldn’t be the only way the food has flavor. A good chicken spot should have seasoning built into the breading and the meat, not just depend on sauce options. If you forget to grab sauce or don’t use much of it, you’re left with something that tastes pretty plain.

The sides were decent. The fries were fresh and crispy, and the toast was okay. Nothing over-the-top amazing, but solid. The overall presentation was clean, and the restaurant itself was neat and organized. Staff was polite and the service was fine — no complaints there.

Overall, I’d say Slim Chickens is average. Fresh food and good sauce options, but the chicken itself needs better seasoning. If they stepped up the flavor in the breading and didn’t rely so much on sauce, it could easily be a much stronger spot. As it stands, it’s okay — just not something I’d crave unless I specifically wanted the sauces.

I’d probably rate it around a 6 or 7 out of 10. Fresh, yes. Flavorful on its own? Not really.“

“I did not catch his name tall, stocky, shiny bald head ;) . He went above & beyond and gave me absolutely perfect breadsticks for my birthday! They were soft and they were loaded with the seasoning and he even put garlic butter on them for me something I did not ask for but thoroughly enjoyed immensely. Definitely definitely recommend this Pizza Hut. Thank you sir you put a much-needed smile on my face“

“I have to give a huge shoutout to Domino’s and their team tonight . Despite dealing with a major storm AND the electricity going out at the store, they still managed to get my food delivered. What impressed me even more was how incredibly kind and professional they were through the whole situation.

It would have been completely understandable for the order to be delayed or canceled under those circumstances, but instead, they went above and beyond to take care of their customers. You just don’t see that kind of dedication and customer service as often these days.

To the employees and delivery driver who were working through all of that: thank you. Your kindness, patience, and commitment did not go unnoticed. Please know that someone genuinely appreciated the extra effort you made tonight. 🍕❤ I will gladly let others know about the kindness and delicious pizza.

“I have not been to spot in awhile but it doesn't disappoint. Drive thru order , meal was very well priced , the lady taking the order very nice, inside looks very clean . Chicken was amazing, crispy and not oily. Biscuits were perfect and not dry at all and the sides coleslaw and the mash potatoes and gravy the best . Overall experience perfection ! Thank you! “i’m not much of a bread eater so when I found out that they have salads and they also have pizza bowls that made me feel very good. I wish they had pasta, but overall this place is amazing and they always have deals going on to save a buck“

“My food was hot and ready to go. I had cheese sticks and Alfredo pasta. They were tasty but they could have been more generous by filling up the tiny cup of marinara for the cheese sticks. The store is easy to find and access. It was clean and the atmosphere was okay. The staff was not friendly. They were not rude but felt more like an assembly line than genuine enthusiasm for me as a paying customer.“
