My wife and I stopped in for the first time in a few years. We were seated after a bit of a wait. It is after all a Friday night in a shopping district.
Our server was bright and cheery. She had a warming smile and happy persona. we placed our drink order. Shortly thereafter our food order was taken. I ordered a flat iron steak and a baker. Based on the reviews, Five Four Restaurant & Drafthouse- Zona Rosa is a favorite restaurant with impeccable service. There are many 5 star servers and bartenders. The food is always perfect. The happy hour is great, with great food and even better prices. The country fried steak and the chicken fried chicken are so tender and delicious with divine batter. The grilled veggies are superb. The portions are so big. The margarita is perfect. The Carne Asada Tacos are absolutely amazing with the best flavor. A chicken salad is very fresh with amazing flavor. The atmosphere is great, and kids have fun with the games. Service is very fast for takeout, and the staff is friendly. However, a food delivery driver reported a new policy requiring them to park in the street, blocking traffic and a crosswalk, which is illegal and puts pedestrians and vehicles at risk of harm.
