I used to frequent the okc captains. Can not ever recommend this establishment after how they closed with no notice and never properly paid their employees and left us regulars with $50+ in gift cards. Do they reimburse them?? Or am I just left with them? Cause I would never go to a captains in Kansas City if or ever was there after the way they handled that situation.
I wanted to recommend Captain’s because my wife and I really did enjoy their food, but I cannot because of their service. The restaurant was not busy at all and we waited at least 15 minutes to be asked what we wanted for appetizers, but it just went downhill from there. My cup was empty for almost my entire meal and our waiter was extremely short with us and unkind. We had to wait another 20 minutes for our waiter to give us our bill after we were finished eating. I was very apprehensive about trying this place but once I got inside all my worries subsided and I was blown away by the number of drinks they offered and the amount of food they served, the portions are enough for two people to share!
The wings are the best I've ever had, the beer is cold and the live music is great.
What really makes me happy is the age of the patrons who frequent this establishment, 40-50 years old, not the younger crowd, my wife and I are regulars...read full review
