Food was great. I had the ribeye. I have had better but not by much. The meat was cooked perfect, very little seasoning if any, and very juicy. Stuffed mushrooms were fantastic. I also will say if you like coffee grab a cup because it was coffee shop quality and a pleasant surprise! I would easily come back to the golden ox.
Exceptional, so glad there is a restaurant there holding onto the spirit of the stockyards.
Food and atmosphere are amazing! Certainly had that historic westbottoms feel.
However, if you’re not a customer who is looking to order the high price menu items, just order take out. It seems the servers don’t really take a liking to those who order low item menu items, and it clearly shows. I guess we’re not wealthy enough to their liking.
