“We hosted a Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party for our son’s wedding at O’Dowds and it was a huge success! We worked with Darci Kelley in Events Planning from the beginning and she was patient, responsive, kind and incredibly helpful as she answered my many questions. She provided suggestions based on what I thought I wanted and then very patiently helped me navigate through all of my thoughts to get to a perfect spot in the menu and with the bar.
She stayed in close contact with the GM, Rob, and ensured everything was exactly to specifications when we showed up for the start of the event. Nick, Scott, Josh, Charlie and Nicole helped to make the Rooftop Bar experience fun and ensure all of our guests were taken care of. The rooftop is a fun place to host an event, and O'Dowds will set it up with what fits your needs.
They are very attentive and willing to meet you where you are (even when you are hosting 120 close family and friends from out of town!). O'Dowds helped to kick off our son’s wedding weekend with a flourish and I really appreciate Darci, Rob and the team for making this happen!“

“Small menu but quality food. Boulevard Burger was outstanding, as were the hand cut fries. The Boulevard Old Fashioned was fantastic. We sat at the bar. All of the staff was friendly and kind. Great food though a little pricey. The burger was $20 but we thought it was worth it.“

“I recently stayed at the Sheraton in downtown Kansas City, and I have to say, the experience at the hotel restaurant, Spectators, was absolutely incredible. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with such warmth and professionalism by Mayleth. She escorted me to my table, gave excellent breakfast recommendations, and truly made me feel valued as a guest.
The breakfast itself was delicious, but what really stood out was the exceptional service. My waitress, Ziara, was just as amazing friendly, professional, always smiling, and genuinely engaging in conversation throughout the meal. Both of these ladies went above and beyond to create such a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
The ambiance at Spectators was calm, relaxing, and inviting. Honestly, it felt less like dining at a hotel restaurant and more like enjoying a meal at home with family. That kind of hospitality is rare to find.
If you ever stay at the Sheraton in downtown Kansas City, do yourself a favor and visit Spectators. And if you’re lucky enough to be taken care of by Mayleth and Ziara, you’re in for an outstanding experience.“
