Last week I stopped into Deviant Kava in downtown Parkville and tried one of their specialty lattes — the Samoan Hotspot.
It’s a mix of Ghirardelli chocolate with a little serrano pepper kick, which sounds unusual but was actually really good.
The shop itself is inside one of Parkville’s historic houses at 405 Main St, which makes it a cozy place to sit by the window and enjoy a drink while walking through downtown.

Very cute third space, loving the setup. Definitely going to bring my friends around to see it.
I am a kava bar regular in Colorado and just recently got to check out DK. I was welcomed warmly! It felt so nice to have a good kava experience away from home. The kava was great, the owners & employees were very nice, and the other customers were pleseant. If you enjoy the kava scene, this is a must-stop on your way through the mid west.
