“This restaurant showed up on my daughter's and my Facebook this morning and we sent it to each other at the same time. we got there when it opened and OMG... it was the best of everything we ordered. Everything was fresh and hot, portion sizes were out of this world, pasta cooked to perfection and their cole slaw... well I could of eaten it as my meal!! We will definately be back and look forward to Friday night Bingo!!“

“Flags Soul Food Cafe is a family owned business food is made from scratch no canned anything fresh sweet potatoes and homemade macaroni, everything cooked to order nothing sitting under the light we stand behind our food we show you your food before you leave and before we give it to you for your approval if something is wrong we done something wrong we have no problem giving a refund we stand behind or food and people we are a black owned business it's hard to please our black people in our community we don't support and stick together we come to destroy our black businesses, we thank all our good customers and the bad ones we wish you the best sorry we couldn't make you happy we can't please everyone can't give up though we all make mistakes we strive to do better each day god bless Flags Soul Food Cafe“

“I dont even know what just happened but this is the best damn ramen I've ever had in my whole life. There was an option to add lobster. I thought hey that sounds pretty good. I was expecting some pieces of lobster added in. No man. They put a whole damn lobster in there. I am mind boggled.
Service was good and everyone was friendly. Ill be back next time I have another project in KC“

“Outstanding food, nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. Reminds me of the best of mom's home cooking back in North Carolina. You can tell the food was prepared with love and care. The meatloaf is the best in KC too!“
