“This spot has had several long-term restaurants over the decades. Each one great in their own way. Cru is the most recent and definitely elevates the BKS dining experience without being stuffy. Husband and I like going for happy hour or for dinner. Or both. It’s walkable from most of BKS, supports local organizations, and is owned by a BKS resident. Food is fantastic and cocktail menu is extensive without being overly so…like a Cheesecake Factory menu. Wine selection is great for both wine snobs and people that just like a good Kim Crawford. Service is always great: friendly and quick and attentive. People say it’s loud, but that’s because people like going and have a great time with good food and drink. If you’re in Brookside, hit them up.“

“Amazing food and awesome service. We stumbled on it for brunch (the ricotta hotcakes were amazing), and ended up going back for dinner the next day. We had the Kangaroo loin, which was delicious!“
