“this is the only starbucks that i go too and im about to stop going there!!! there is only 3-4 people that know how to make my drinks and make them right and every time these new people or people that never make them mess it up they get an attitude it’s clearly printed on my cup how to make my drink i like it sweet with a lot of caramel and if you make it wrong you shouldn’t get an attitude when i’m nice about it every time. can’t even get my coffee today because it was remade twice and it still was nasty!!!“
“I usually don’t leave reviews for chains, but this Starbucks has the best customer service I have ever seen! All of the barista’s are so incredibly kind and welcoming, but Mel specifically stood out to me. The first time I came to this location, Mel was so incredibly sweet and gave me an amazing drink recommendation that I loved! Today I was studying inside of the Starbucks for probably around four hours and the entire time I was there I got to witness how amazing of a person that Mel is.They treated every customer like family, If I didn’t know any better I would think that they knew everybody who came in. Mel was so warm and genuine to everyone, asking people how their days were if they had any plans just making everybody come in feel seen and cared about. If anyone who is having a bad day comes into this Starbucks location and interfaces with Mel I am sure that that person is not having a bad day anymore! As a customer service worker, I aspire to have the contagious sweetness and magnetic effect that Mel has on guest!“
“Starbucks is honestly one of my favorite places to go. I always go there with my sister, and it’s kind of our little routine. Every time we visit, we order an iced caramel macchiato and a pistachio chocolate loaf, and they are both AMAZING.
The drink is always so refreshing and perfectly sweet, and the loaf is super soft and delicious—it honestly makes the whole experience even better. The atmosphere is really nice and comfortable, and the staff are usually friendly, which makes us enjoy our time even more.
It’s definitely our go-to spot whenever we want to relax and have something sweet together. I love it so much and will keep coming back!“
“I had a great experience at Starbucks today—honestly one of the best. Everything felt fresh, from the drinks to the food, and the store was super clean and well organized. The staff were friendly and quick, which made the whole visit even better. Definitely one of the best coffee spots to go to.“
“I’m writing this review to highlight the exceptional customer service and professionalism shown by two baristas at this location. I brought a friend who is new to Starbucks, and Rose and Daisy went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. They offered great recommendations, maintained a positive attitude, and created an overall welcoming atmosphere.
Their energy was genuinely uplifting, and the drinks were made perfectly. Rose and Daisy truly made our visit special, and I hope they receive recognition for their outstanding service and positivity.“
“I have been going to Starbucks on Antioch since it opened. In this time, I have never had a complaint about the taste of my my food or coffee.. I feel at home when I’m there and it is rare for me to feel that way about any place besides the library and my home.“
“had the best experience at Starbucks during the Christmas season. The atmosphere was so cozy and festive, which made it even more special. The drinks were amazing—perfectly made, rich in flavor, and exactly what I needed.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and everything felt organized and clean. It’s definitely my comfort place, especially during the holidays.
Overall, one of my favorite experiences. I will definitely keep coming back!“
“Pulled into Kansas City after a 20-hour drive. Long road, zero energy. First stop after Costco — Starbucks. No experiments, just routine.
Ordered my usual — hot caramel macchiato, Venti. Same exact taste I get back in California. Not better, not worse. Just consistent. That’s kind of the whole point with Starbucks.
But this spot… feels different.
Walked in around 5 PM — almost empty. Quiet. No rush, no line stress. And then you start noticing the space. Big open layout, clean lines, those green walls with the arch design — doesn’t feel like a typical Starbucks at all. More like a place you actually want to stay in.
Grabbed a seat by the window on one of those leather couches. Solid, comfortable, not worn out. Table space is real — not those tiny “quick stop” setups. Opened my laptop just to check a couple things… ended up staying way longer.
Lighting is soft, not harsh. Everything looks fresh — floors, tables, even the bar area. No clutter behind the counter, no chaos. You can tell this location is taken care of.
Only thing — coffee itself didn’t surprise me. But again, that’s not why this place stands out.
Paid about $13 for two drinks. Compared to California prices, that’s a win.
This isn’t just a Starbucks you pass through. This is one you actually use.
If you need a calm spot to sit, work, reset for a bit — this one delivers.
I’d come back here without thinking twice.“
“I went through the drive- thru the other day and a woman named Amanda was at the window being extremely passive aggressive talkin about how much she hates her job and talking very ill of her employees....... Terrible customer service.... Ive seen quite a few complaints about that employee in these reviews, how has she not been fired“
“Y’all hit this shop up!! Alexis and Zoe took amazing care of us! These two have done an amazing job every time we have stopped here! They need to allow these employees to take tips, they work hard and deserve them!!
On another note Zoe’s name tag had some amazing art!“
“The staff is always polite and service is always fast. Special shout out for Jerad as he's normally the one who is here and waits on me with a smile and something positive to say. A peppermint matcha is always amazing on these chilly mornings and helps get me through my work day.“
“I have been to multiple Starbucks. This location by far is one of the best. The staff went above and beyond and was extremely kind and friendly. Not only was the Coffee Great, the atmosphere was wonderful. I recommend stopping in for a coffee any chance you get. Plus its just right around the corner from the T-Mobile center and Power and light.“
“I usually go through the drive thru. However one day, off NW Barry a bit East off 129..I had to go inside because there wasn’t a drive thru. That was THE BEST Hot Vanilla Latte Ever! I think they use vanilla syrup instead of the extract.“
“This location is pretty standard like all the other locations. The only difference is that this Starbeezy is located inside HyVee.When you pull into HyVee's parking lot, the Starbucks sign on the building appears that Starbucks is in a separate but attached building however as soon as you walk into HyVee supermarket (the entrance with all the carts), Starbucks is immediately to your left. The store is fairly big considering it is inside another store. When I initially walked in the supermarket, there were a few customers. I did my shopping, then went back the get coffee and there was only one other customer ahead of me. The barista acknowledged me and told me she would be with me shortly. Soon after, she was ready to take my order.I order and waited maybe 2-3 minutes and in no time my coffee - medium, extra hot, cinnamon dolce latter was ready.I am satisfied with the service I received and my coffee.“
“Starbucks is where my coffee journey started back when I had my first job. Gone are the days of venti iced black coffees or the occasional caramel macchiato / white chocolate mocha for indulgent runs.
These days, my go-to is the venti iced brown sugar shaken espresso. If James Bond were a Starbucks regular, I’d like to think this would be his drink. Smooth, slightly sweet, and gets straight to the point.
And then, because I felt like pushing it a bit, I added a few extra shots. Definitely felt it.
Also grabbed a slice of banana loaf (banana bread, let’s be honest). Surprisingly solid. Not overly sweet, no artificial banana flavor—just a subtle, natural sweetness that paired really well with the espresso.
It is a bit pricey. I do wish Starbucks made their sugar-free options more obvious on the menu. I know they exist, but I’m not trying to decode the menu every time. Places like 7 Brew make that much easier with clear SF labels.
This particular location is one I usually prefer. They’re efficient—even when the drive-thru line is long—and the staff is consistently friendly. Only downside is limited seating, and the layout can get chaotic during peak hours with Chipotle, Taco Bell, CVS, and other spots all packed into the same area.“
“We serviced this Starbucks during a snow event, and the woman working (who I assume was the manager) went out of her way to take care of us. The first time we were there, she surprised us with a few drinks on the house, which honestly meant a lot after pushing snow for days straight.
The next time we came through, I fully expected to pay and told her I was happy to do so. She still gave us a very generous discount, and I paid for drinks for my whole crew. I understand that kind of generosity can’t happen every time, but that first gesture boosted morale, gave us energy for the rest of our route, and made us want to take extra care of the property.
That’s the kind of service that sticks with people.“
“I came here about 2 weeks ago unplanned, and since then I’ve been coming here almost everyday. I go out of my way bc it’s not the closest to home, but surprisingly they make the best drinks!!! Better than regular ⭐️bucks locations. Their espresso shots are perfect everytime. All the other Starbucks in this area and in gladstone have bitter/sour/watery shots almost always.
Also the managers here are so friendly, and every worker I’ve come across so far, my drinks are so modified and annoying I always feel bad, but they are so cool about it🥹“
“State line Starbucks on the Missouri side:
I just want to give a shout out to Megan today! She was so friendly and helped me pick out a perfect pumpkin drink. You could tell she had a smile on her face when she took your order. When I got to the window, that same BIG smile greeted me. Thanks for starting my day off great!“
“They did not have a bathroom- it’s actually just a drive-through only facility which I didn’t do a cursory google search on. The woman at the counter was so cute and so nice and I don’t know how much she makes, but I feel like she deserves a raise.“
“First off, a word of caution. This location isn't available for everyone. It's inside the Oracle office buildings so it isn't accessible unless you work there.
That being said, the drinks are great, the food is great, and the baristas are friendly and helpful.“
“Love their fast paced but they should start asking their door dash drivers that are working hard if they would like a drink to help keep them going sometimes because it would be so greatful for some of us I know me for one example I be working all night and begin to get tired and then getting the coffee orders I would like a coffee or something but I can't get anything because I don't have the money for something because I am in the middle of a order and can't afford it“
