“My latte was messed up yesterday. There was no coffee in it just hot milk and by the time I realize the store was already closed. So I came by tonight on my way to work and let them know what happened and they remade my drink without issue. I appreciate that because I paid cash and didn't have a receipt but I did have a time stamped photo and they didn't even care to see and make sure. Friendly AF.“
“Been here a couple of times and the quality is hit or miss. 2 of the 5 times I have been here the times the coffee has tasted more like water than coffee, even confirmed by my girlfriend who *hates* the taste of coffee. This is probably because the staff is inexperienced and young as it is a newer addition. If you are going to go here make sure that Josh or one of the older employees is making it since, in my experience, they make it as it should be. Regardless, this is a great thing to have on the south side of town, and barring a few employees the location is excellent.“
“Hi Im a frequent customer at this Hyvee Starbucks, and was actually there in line the day the upset lady below was there and i remember it clearly due to how outrageous this woman was acting. The male barista was trying to simply let her know that they can only take gift cards through the starbucks app, plus she stood where you get your drinks and proceeded to yell and scream at the male barista the whole time she was there as he was trying to just move the line forward and drop it. I come to this store almost every day and get the highest quality drinks from these people and they do an amazing job. Don’t let one sour apple ruin going to this amazing location! “I had arrived in an unpleasant mood, but they greeted and welcomed me. I felt very greeted and welcomed. I had ordered a grande black and white mocha ten pumps each, quad shot, with coconut milk steamed to exactly 190 degrees topped with whipped cream and caramel drizzle… The baristas crafted my drink to perfection I have never been so satisfied with my drink. The chocolaty goodness with the slight bitterness of the espresso and the sweet sweet whipped cream danced around my taste buds like a waltz with a lover. I felt fulfilled once I had completed my beverage. Coming to this store is like coming home.“
“This is the most popular Starbucks in LS. It is easiest to get in and out of, the other Starbucks in the area; the parking lots are tricky during holiday season. This location, since it is so busy, does run out certain product from time to time. Pretty fast though and friendly staff.“
“What can you say? Starbucks has their act together! Rarely do I have to wait long for my order and this place is busy nonstop. The staff still finds it in them to smile and be pleasant despite being freaking busy af. Take your pic of coffee cause they have it all! Pastries, muffins, and all the yummy stuff that will make your tummy big if you over indulge. But it's hard not to, the food is good. Come see for yourself!“
“Once a nearby neighbor, stopped in on a trip passing through. Ordered the new smoked butterscotch with triple shot venti size. Order was accurate and complete. Service was slightly slow; in fairness probably due to one barista making in person and call-in orders? That should be addressed. The drink was hot, slightly "burned" shots, not full - but still good to drink. This store location has always been people-flow backwards. This is due to the physical limitations of the space, which still seems awfully small for a popular shop.“
“The Starbucks on Douglas is by far the best one in town. The drinks always taste better here and the food is always hot all of the way through (as opposed to others that sometimes hide you partially still frozen in the middle sandwiches or wraps...). I rarely miss a chance to get something here if I am on that side of town.“
“The weekday morning crew is great! They’re quick and professional even with a drive thru line 20 people long. David is so kind and happy every time I see him. His customer service is top notch and makes the drive into work so much better. 5 stars isn’t enough!“
