“We’ve been to Brewery Emperial several times now, and overall it’s a great spot with consistently solid food and drinks. We love sitting on the patio with our pup.

The standout for me is their BLT (or BLT Club), seriously one of the best in KC. Perfectly crispy bacon, fresh ingredients, and delicious toast. We also love the deep fried pickles (great for sharing); the batter is perfection.

On the drinks side, it’s not just about the beer. Their margaritas and Aperol Spritz are both excellent, which makes it an easy pick whether you’re in a beer mood or not.

Only complaint, and it’s small but somehow consistent, they bring ONE paper towel. One. Every single time. When two people are splitting deep fried pickles, one paper towel feels… ambitious. I can’t imagine paper towels are breaking the budget, so tossing a couple extra on the tray would go a long way.

That said, we’ll absolutely be back. Great atmosphere, great food, great drinks … just maybe bring your own napkin.“
