“First time my husband I went there and the food is amazing also we from out of state and we were just passing through The state and we wanted some Jamaican food and they are everything and more than what we ask for… The drinks are affordable and strong you get lit and the food is perfectly proportions.“
“G's Jamaican Quisine is always my first stop when visiting KC. I've been eating there since 2016. In fact, I've eaten there twice on the same trip while in KC on multiple occasions. If you are looking for authentic and traditional Jamaican food, look no further than G's. The sweet, sweet reggae music is always oozing from the sound system like it does in Jamaican yards of the island. Service time is with minimal wait. On this trip, I ordered Curry Goat, Peas Rice, and Cabbage with a side of Plantains. My drink was Ginger Pineapple Juice. The goat was meaty and curried to perfection. It was juicy and moderately spicy. The rice was dutty like I like it ? and the cabbage was fresh and textured between tender and crisp. The Plantains were a bit soggy (I prefer them crisp). The juice was pure with no additives and had that kick that I was anticipated. Give them a try, and you'll probably find your way back.“
“Can I just say this place is true Jamaican delights! The best in the city! The family is amazing and friendly. Food is always amazing. I've been going out of my way for years to stop by for some curry goat. This is a.muat! Get you a Ting, beef patty and meal for cheap.“
“Hands down, one of the most authentic Jamaican establishment I've eaten at in a long time. The food was absolutely amazing! We had the jerk chicken, the curry goat and the patties! Full of seasoning and no holding back. The vibe was also nice and chill. The sisters are definitely engaging! We will definitely be back and sending everyone we know!“
