Every time I buy from Kobi-Q, whether it is there Grand street location or this new Westport location, I’m greeted well and an treated like I am an acclaimed guest. This is a definite pro when coming to their new sushi bar. If you have any questions on what things are, what is appropriate to share, what is a good item for newcomers, and what is off the beaten path, they help you in anyway they can to make the best possible dining experience. We went off the beaten path for some Korean bulgogie. It didn't disappoint.
Overall a great place to eat. I ordered a soju flight, side of kimchi, fried pork dumplings, and the Spicy BBQ & Rice Cakes with pork. I enjoyed every bite and sip of my meal! I came in near the end of the day, so business was slow, and it was pretty quiet inside. I got great service, and enjoyed my meal while watching Korean animated shows playing at the bar.
