“Eating here has made my life complete. I left as a different person. The sun shined brighter and although I was so full, I felt light at the same time. The food was so. SO. SO! amazing. Words can not describe how good the food is. The lighting was perfect, the atmosphere was cozy, and the workers were incredibly kind. The food was so fresh, so hot, and so amazing. I have confidence in my heart that the food's recipe is someone great grandmother's, because it was crafted so perfectly and with so much love that it healed my soul. The crab lagoon was crunchy and cheesy in all the right ways. 10/10. The rice was perfectly shaped and perfectly tasting even before I added more flavor to it. 100/10. The orange chicken was so crunchy, so flavorful, so hit, and so fresh, I genuinely don't think I've ever had anything like it and nothing can replicate it. 1000/10. If you ever. EVER. In Kansas City, YOU HAVE TO GO! Doesn't matter how far, the drive will be worth it. Hell, even if you're not in Missouri, you've got to taste this. Even if you're across the world and have to take a boat or plane, you must taste this food. ♾️/10“

“Every time I buy from Kobi-Q, whether it is there Grand street location or this new Westport location, I’m greeted well and an treated like I am an acclaimed guest. This is a definite pro when coming to their new sushi bar. If you have any questions on what things are, what is appropriate to share, what is a good item for newcomers, and what is off the beaten path, they help you in anyway they can to make the best possible dining experience. I love Kobi-Q on Grand st. And they haven’t let me down the 3-4 times I’ve been privileged enough to enjoy their sushi bar in Westport. Please come, have an open mind on sushi, and enjoy it. It’s an experience that I’ve had with plenty of good friends. <3“
