“So I stumbled into the Waffle House on Antioch Road the other morning because my cooking skills at 6 AM are basically nonexistent, and honestly, it hit the spot. It has that classic, slightly chaotic diner energy where the jukebox is playing something random and you can hear the bacon sizzling right in front of you. I almost knocked over my water glass trying to squeeze into the booth, but the server just laughed it off and brought me a coffee refill before I could even ask. The place is super casual, and you can tell a lot of locals just live there, which gives it a comforting, homey vibe.
The food came out incredibly fast, and it was exactly the kind of greasy spoon comfort you want. My waffle was nice and sweet with those perfect crispy edges, though I accidentally drowned it in syrup because the top of the container was sticky and it poured out way too fast. I also got a hashbrown bowl loaded with scrambled eggs, sausage, and cheese. The eggs were super fluffy, and the hashbrowns had that amazing buttery crunch on the outside. It is definitely not health food, but if you are looking for a satisfying, unpretentious breakfast that fills you up completely, this spot delivers without any fuss.“
“Kylie was an exceptional waitress. We had a group of 8 adults and 2 kids. the staff got us sat in tables near each other. Quick, friendly service. Food was amazing. 4 of the adults and the 2 kids had never been to a Waffle House. The 4 adults that had been before said this was the best location they had been to. We will be back!!!“
