“Exactly what you'd expect from a waffle house. Nothing to complain about.
The booths can seat about 4 people so if you have more than that you'll have to split between multiple tables. We got there when it wasn't too busy but by the time we left there were people waiting for seats to open.“
“Waffle House Unit #1286 in Kansas City, Kansas, was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was prepared perfectly.
Phillip did an outstanding job preparing my meal. He accommodated my egg request exactly as I asked and cooked the bacon to perfection. He was also very friendly and personable. I truly cannot emphasize enough how well the food was prepared.
My server, Dalia, was friendly, efficient, and made sure my coffee stayed full throughout my visit.
As always, Waffle House continues to provide great-quality food at reasonable prices. Please give Phillip and Dalia the recognition they deserve, and let the general manager know that the entire shift working on Monday, August 24, 2026, between approximately 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. was doing an excellent job.
I am an over-the-road truck driver, so I eat at many different restaurants across the country. Unfortunately, many restaurants today seem to have stopped caring, and the food and service can often be subpar. My experience at this Waffle House was so exceptional that I took the time to submit this compliment.

“We had a great experience at this Waffle House. A bit of a wait due to all the people in KC area because of the World Cup, but as always it was worth the wait. The food was hot, fresh, and exactly what you hope for when stopping in. The staff was friendly, quick, and attentive, even while staying busy. Our order came out fast, everything tasted great, and the overall atmosphere was exactly what you’d expect from a Waffle House. It’s always nice to find a place where you can get good food, good service, and a reliable experience, and all done quickly. We would definitely stop at this location again.“
