“Came back to try some other items on the menu, I wasn't sure what to order and Angie gave me a sample of each item I wanted to try. They were all a 10/10. She let me sample, CASSAVA LEAF, TORBORGEE and Egusi Soup. All were AMAZING! But I choose to go with Egusi soup. Highly recommend“

“Had a good first experience at Teetasty and will be back! The staff are so friendly and excited to talk about the menu and help you understand the food. They even brought out samples for us to try before we ordered. The chef spoke to us multiple times to talk about the traditional dishes and help us order, she was very kind. The food was good! The beef and veggie samosas were delicious, I would definitely recommend those and will be back for more! The fried plantains were perfect! We also ordered the Efo Riro soup with fufu. Very unique flavors and huge, generous portions. I'll be back to try the rice dishes. Highly recommend giving this place a try, they are serving up unique food in KC!“

“This place is such a gem. I loved it. They have Halal food and they make it good. The price is great for the amount, absolutely worth it ? ?The menu is short and simple, but everything is made well.We ordered Goat with rice and Beef with Ugali. It was so delicious. Later we also got a mango lassi. We also discovered that they sell samosas but it was nowhere on the menu. If you are a regular you probably know but were were there for the first time. They are probably going through a renovation or something because the widows were missing? Idk n idc. The food was so good. I want to go again.Dietary restrictions: They have Halal food.Parking: We were able to park right in front of the restaurant“

“normally great food and service from younger servers. I boast on this place nationwide. I took a seat at the bar and sat there patiently for about 10 or so minutes. they appear to be busy. I understand. I known what I wanted to order and expressed it. then owner then made space for two older white people who came nearly 10 minutes or so after me (check cameras), great people but it was done. she took their order for food and drinks faster and never even returned back to me for my food request. I eat here when in town regularly because it's great flavor and helps me to eat healthy alternatives. I'm not sure if it was great coincidence. camera shows I sat down at 650pm or so, I journal daily when I go to restaurants as I'm working on my next comedy project. I was under the impression I was seen as lesser value. it's 737pm and they just received their appetizers. check your cameras. I walked sad, disappointed and degraded. I won't be back to this location but I wish you all continued success. update came back on April 12th, 2024 . another horrible experience. I ordered oxtail. I asked them could I just add extra greens in the dish (which comes with greens) in exchange for me not wanting mushroom rice. I also ordered the Mac and cheese. I was told they couldn't simply add more greens to my order. the rice didn't come with the dish but I was charged for the Mac and cheese and no extra greens added to the dish.“

Those working were very sweet and helpful with explanations of everything offered. I believe it was about $30/person.Dietary restrictions: I’m lactose intolerant and everything I saw seemed dairy free.
