The owner is so nice! We got to sample a matcha drink, vanilla cake, shortbread and the cheddar/chive biscuits, all so good! Highly recommend.

Morning Rounds Bakery is a fun and exciting spot that just opened 6 months ago. The owner is a former nurse and is amazingly talented. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and keeps the line moving. Everything is amazing: the English muffins, biscuits, sweets, coffee, and cookies are all great. The blueberry matcha is really good. The Cinnamon Blisskit is a favorite. Baked goodies are both savory and sweet, with reasonable prices. Classic pastries plus unique offerings are all done to perfection. The coffee and cookies are the best in Kansas City. The owners are the friendliest and as kind as their pastries are phenomenal. No gimmicks, just perfectly executed baking. The bakery is open extra early.
