“Visited last night with some friends… and oh my god everything was DIVINE. The fresh bread, the mussels in broth, the spinach salad, the most amazing roasted carrot and turnip soup, and of course the classic chicken and vegetable pot pie. This is going to be a weekly staple for us for sure! Love the rotating menu, and cozy atmosphere. And the staff…. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️“
“Such a lovely experience from start to finish. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous the moment you walk in. We were seated upstairs in the coziest little nook of a table overlooking the first floor. Every host, every manager, and every server we encountered was so warm and welcoming.I had a shrimp pasta dish which was excellent but I think the real star of the show was the duck that my husband ordered which was cooked to perfection and so tender it could rival a filet mignon. We finished our meal with a strawberry rhubarb fruit tart which was absolutely divine. It’s not very often we finish a meal and say, “That was worth every penny” but it’s true —the food, service, and atmosphere were all spectacular and we can’t wait to come back. Well done!“
“Anytime I have people visiting from out of town, and they want to have a nice meal that isn't BBQ I take them here. The food, service and ambiance are always fantastic. Their menu is so different than anything around here and sitting in the dining room feels like sitting in a French restaurant. They have a rotating chef's special, a great deal on their steak frites on Tuesdays, delicious French desserts (home made profiteroles, say WHAT?! yum. And don't even get me started on their mille feuille when that is around... absolutely fabulous). The wine selection is great, they have a non alc option that seemed interesting but I decided to go with their non alc cocktail which was delicious. Cocktail menu is solid, and they even carry my favorite beer, Duvel which is such a European staple and not always easy to find in the city.“
“as someone who only came here for brunch, the food was really good! the service is pretty slow, but it appears there's very little servers working so i can't blame them. the environment is fun, everyone mostly minded their own business. i got the veggie omelette, definitely reccommend! the goat cheese in it was delicious!“
“Tonight, March 7th, my husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary with 11 friends and family at Bistro 303. Mike and the staff made our group more than welcome. They were fantastic. We couldn't have asked for more from them. They made our 30th even more special than I could have hoped for. All I can say is thank you Mike.“
“Lovely Saturday night date night at Charisse. This was my first time here and the location and ambiance is very nice and quaint. The service was efficient as well. The prime rib was our favorite and extremely flavorful! We will be adding this to our list of nice date night places for sure!“
“Finally made it to Aixois and I'm glad I did!We started off with the french onion soup and a sweet potato and leek soup. The french onion soup was perfect! I enjoyed the sweet potato and leek soup; it was very peppery which I enjoyed but a lady behind me apparently thought it was too spicy. My wife did a pasta w/ salmon dish. They were out of buratta unfortunately; they subbed goat cheese and it was still delicious. I wasn't super adventurous - I did the steak, potatoes, and veggies. Everything was perfect. Their house Cotes du Rhone was very nice and paired well with my meal.We ended with a chocolate crepe and mousse au chocolate. Very well executed - especially the madeleine cookie! The only downside on this particular evening - they have outdoor covered seating. They had heaters going, but it did get quite drafty from time-to-time. I would have preferred to sit inside. All in all, great experience, great food, great service.“
“We booked afternoon tea for 3 yesterday and our visit was superb! Our daughter's love for tea parties brought us here for her 4th birthday. Without asking, they added peanut butter & jelly finger sandwiches to our tea tray - which was just so perfect for our daughter. And then they came out with a large slice of amazing chocolate cake complete with a lit candle. The smile on her face was priceless, and I am just so happy with the service and friendly smiles that we received yesterday. Thank you!“
“Would enjoy more vegetarian items on the menu. Dessert Souffles are great for Monday nights. I would also enjoy a savory souffle. The souffles might arrive faster if we had mentioned that when we reserved. However, we did order them the moment that we were seated. The wait staff seems to always be different people rather than loyal staffers.“
“Café de Amis in Parkville, MO, offers a culinary experience that's both elegant and inviting. Starting with the bone marrow salad, each bite was a symphony of flavors, perfectly balanced and exquisitely presented. The rack of lamb was cooked to perfection, tender and succulent, while the quail dish showcased the chef's skillful artistry. The ambiance added to the charm, creating a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere. A definite gem for those seeking exceptional dining in Parkville.“
“How isn’t this place 5 stars?! WOW. My date and I had an amazing experience from the atmosphere, the food, and our incredible waitress Danielle. She was such a treat and very knowledgeable of all the products. I will definitely be coming back!“
