“My husband and I came in from out of state and he made a reservation for us at Piropos, everything from our contact with the hostess to our departure from the restaurant was personable and the atmosphere was perfect for our date night the food was delicious and our waitress, Catherine, was extremely attentive and kind, as I’m in a wheelchair, making our visit one of the best nights we had on our 5 day stay in Kansas City! I would recommend this establishment to anyone wanting a classy atmosphere with the best waitstaff and food we’ve ever experienced!“

“I visited this restaurant while visiting KC and to my pleasant surprise the chefs were native from my home town in Venezuela. Amazing traditional flavor I had not tasted in years!! Had the Chivo en Coco and Mondongo soup. Pastelitos and tequeños were all superb. I wish they were closer to home to visit them every day.“
“Incredible food! I live locally & always make it a point to try new things that open up around the area. This spot doesn’t disappoint. I regularly order food to pick up & take home. It’s authentic & fresh. The pupusas are amazing & I always get the fried tacos (taquitos) & they never disappoint. Friendly staff. I hope they stay in business!“

“The food was amazing! We got the meat platter and several different kinds of empanadas and it was ALL delicious! Our waitress was great and even recommended deserts to take home! The deserts were on display and I probably would haven taken one of each but we filled up on our dinner! The atmosphere was fun and we will definitely be going back!!“
