Fern Bar KC Reviews
I love this spot! the drinks are made with so much thought behind them. lovely atmosphere. great music.
We had the best service at Fern Bar. It was so good, we even came back the same night for another margarita. Our waitress Sarah was very knowledgeable and even let us sample a new drink that the bar is working on. We brought in a small treat for a friend’s birthday and Sarah put all 13 candles into it and brought it out for us lit! The food was good and all staff was attentive and engaging. Atmosphere was beautiful. We will be back!!!!!
Incredible hospitality, actually raising the bar for my expectations at other cocktail establishments. The vibe is also extremely cozy, and not overly dark like you might find in other adjacent options. Looking forward to the next visit, and the next, and the next...

Fern Bar KC is an upbeat place specializing in unique drinks, priced accordingly. The space is great, with lovely architecture inside and out, and many ferns and other plants present. The cocktails clearly have a point of view and are absolutely fantastic. Their NA options are to die for, including a new one made with matcha. The menu is unique and on rotation. The staff is kind, conversational, and provides great service, gracious enough to meet guests where they are. One guest received one of the best vodka dirty martinis in the city, with brine from house-made olives. The bar is inside an old bank building, making it elegant and swanky. It is very tequila- and mezcal-forward, with a focus on agave and rum based cocktails, though a wide selection of liquors is available. The location is around the corner from Crossroads Hotel, requiring street parking which can be a pain. Service can be slow on busy nights, and the atmosphere is a little noisy, but the music and atmosphere make it a good place to visit.
