Firehouse Subs in Kansas City

“You know every now and then you run into a great chain restaurant and this particular firehouse Subway is a great one. The service is always good. It’s always friendly fresh and clean. It’s not too pricey and it’s a good atmosphere to sit and visit. Thank you firehouse.“

“I go here about once a week. Two months or so ago I walked in and one of the workers - I don't know her name but she's almost always there during lunch hour - called me by name, which pleasantly surprised me. She may be one of the managers, I'm not sure.

While I'm there relatively frequently, and while remembering a regular customer's name used to be the norm, you don't get that a lot these days from anywhere. I appreciated the attention to detail and just the general customer service attitude. Sometimes it's the small things, not just the main product.“

“It was pouring rain the day that I visited. It was clear that I was walking, because I was soaked and carrying bags from the shopping I had done before stopping in. I asked for a bag with handles. The guy behind the counter asked me "why" instead of just giving me the bag. (Well because carrying a brown paper sack and my other bags in the rain isn't fun, that's why). That's the reason that the service only gets 3 stars. The sandwich was good though.“

Nate and James took amazing care of me, they had big smiles, answered all my questions, and really made me feel welcome. The service was outstanding, the food was absolutely delicious, and their cookies are amazing! I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“My first time ever trying firehouse subs. I got the Italian combo. It was decent. I’d consider giving them a try again. This particular shop was location kind inside a shopping center. Service was fast and friendly enough. Try it out.“
