They need to rip the carpet up, strong mildew odor coming from the floor- staff do their best to keep the place clean, its the carpets and owners being cheap which affects the guest experience.
I was in Kansas City for a brief visit and decided to have dinner one evening at this location. I had the filet mignon and it was excellent. Cocktail service was also very good, which isn't always the case at chain restaurants. It was a busy night but the staff were attentive and friendly. I'd eat here again without hesitation.
Great food, friendly staff, nice decor. But the real selling point of this specific location is that it's open until 11pm, at least on Saturdays. That's a nice consideration for travelers like myself that fly into KCI on a late evening flight.

LongHorn Steakhouse provides an outstanding dining experience with impeccable cleanliness and modern rustic decor. The restaurant serves high-quality food, including the flavorful Kansas City Strip. Guests appreciate the large portions and good food, with some considering it a great value for the price, getting plenty of leftovers. The salad and potatoes are also excellent, and the steak is cooked well. The filet mignon was well done and not dry. The hamburger was out of this world, with a good char and very rare. The pork chops were juicy and delicious. The service was beyond, and the manager was very pending of all customers.
