“A friend lives here, he recommended this place to me. Being from Texas, and reading reviews of this restaurant, I had to try it for myself and see how it compares back home. Rodrigo served us and was super sweet.

So far, the homemade sweet tea reminds me of Texas, so we're off to a great start!

Our appetizer came by, which we ordered the jumbo mushrooms with horseradish sauce. Very presentable with micro greens on the top, crispy and flavorful. Even the horseradish sauce added an extra layer of kick and flavor, and not too overpowering.

I ordered the Kansas City Combo with Beef Brisket, Smoked Sausage, fries and potato salad. My friend ordered the BlackBerry Salmon with fries.

The salmon was very flavorful, had a nice char on the bottom, and the sauce was smokey. The Kansas City Combo looked very presentable, slices of sausage and brisket arrayed like a charcuterie board. The sausage was smokey and had a lot of different flavors going on, however the brisket is a different story. The BBQ sauce adds flavor to the brisket, but without it, it can be tough to chew. This is my first time having sausage sliced this way, whereas I'm used to sausage LINKS. The potato salad was very good, along with the fries. Had a lot of flavor and didn't need ketchup

Overall, this was a very good experience, and if it ever in the area again, and am missing my hometown, I will come back.“

“As a Gluten Free customer I want to highly recommend this restaurant. The waitress, Hailey was great! She got a special menu for me and made suggestions for GF food. I got the McCoy with pulled pork, GF bun and potato salad. The bun was amazing! The pulled pork delicious! I didn't care for the potato salad because it had a slight tang. Otherwise I can say this BBQ riveled ours in NC!!“

“Came for my son's request Birthday dinner. Felt rushed, server kept trying too remove my wife's plate even though she wasn't finished. Called at 12:30pm and asked for a table ahead of time was told that the person that took my call would speak with the manager on that shift and would take care of the table request. Even said the time we would be attending. Didn't get that table that was requested. I understand that it is a first come first service situation. But was not told that when I called. I can say I am never disappointed when we come here. But this time Didn't feel the same way as we usually just show up. Food was great and my son was not disappointed.“
