County Road Ice House Reviews
Our final stop in KC and my favorite. Great BBQ. I loved the ribs and the atmosphere. The homemade ice cream sandwich was also out of this worls. Our waitress Clair went above and beyond our expectations.
Claire was our server; Very friendly and personable, wonderful service; Hope we didn't talk her ear off, but she was a sweetheart.
We were a party of three; We ordered the BBQ Feast (Half slab of Ribs, Pulled Pork, Pulled Chicken, Brisket, Spicy Sausage, slice of toast, helping of Pickles); It was enough for all of us; Very delicious; came out quickly; we ate like animals; Had to take left overs to go.
We will be back

This is my 5th time to County Road Ice House so it’s about time I make a review. Easily my go to place to visit while in KC. Joe’s KC BBQ is always delicious, the burnt ends are my favorite. This visit I had the happy hour sliders and the loaded fries. My server Claire was attentive and kind. She recommended the Carolina for the slider and she wasn’t wrong. Very good! Looking forward to my next visit.

County Road Ice House offers a delightful dining experience. The food is described as delicious, with the pulled pork receiving high praise for its tenderness, juiciness, and great smoke flavor. The brisket was amazing, and the pulled pork and ribs were both very good. The ribs were tender with lots of meat and flavorful without needing much sauce, and the sliced brisket had plenty of flavor with a little sauce. The bartender made a fantastic Horsefeather, and the meats were cooked to perfection. The Cole slaw was above average, and the Mac and cheese was fantastic—worth going back just for that. The staff kept drinks full and were friendly and attentive, with the server taking time to walk customers through the menu and offer recommendations. The location is great, within walking distance of most major hotels in downtown and right next to KC Live. The manager and staff took extra time to help customers and did so with a smile. This is a good restaurant if you are looking for basic BBQ, and it’s a convenient stop before a game or event downtown, especially if you want to enjoy Joe’s BBQ but don’t want to travel to the Kansas side. The food comes out quickly, and the service is friendly and knowledgeable, making County Road Ice House a great choice for a fun and tasty meal.
