I'm not a huge fan of sports bars but when your in Kc you gravitate toward BBQ. Glad I made it past the sports part because the food was great and service at the bar was top notch. Highly recomend the Carolina pulled pork the slaw realy set it off and be sure to try the spicey sauce.?? ps they have Dunkel on tap .
Make sure to get a to go box. Your dog will love it. You won’t. The brisket and sausage were about as generic and bland as you could imagine. Drown it in the sauce, you’ll need it.

Rude Manager Ryan has me giving this place a 1 star. Food was good but I wouldn’t go back bc the manager was a complete jerk.*Booked two tables of 10 online bc the host over the phone wasn’t helpful in booking a group of us visiting for volleyball tourney. Upon arrival when we asked to be by each other we were given the run around , and spoken to quite rudely , saying..” we should’ve called for that big of a group…and that the table next to one of ours was being held for someone else“? ( I don’t know you can hold specific tables) Ultimately the table sat open the entire time were there. ? and our group was separated. Not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things butIf you want to spoken to rudely by manager Ryan , then take your chances for some good BBQ. Their street corn was my fav and the rude manager was my least fav.

We got there right when they opened, but after an hour, people started to come in quickly. Amazing customer service from our waiter, wished I had remembered his name. A girl there, my boyfriend said rolled her eyes at me, but it didn't ruin the experience for me! But me and my boyfriend and him were just chatting away. Food was soooo delicious. The atmosphere inside was great; very spacious.

Sweet tea was great. If this is a bbq place, there smoker must have been broke because the food tasted like it was baked in an oven. Service and atmosphere was great. Hopefully i can get somereal Kansas City BBQ at Gates.
Super disappointed in the food here. We ordered the Burnt end taquitos and BBQ nachos. Approx $15 for each.First the taquitos, we got four of them. A mediocre gas station would have superior taquitos in comparison to the ones we were served. These were a Sam’s Club quick heat up.Second, the Loaded Nachos. Served cold, cheddar cheese wasn’t even remotely melted and as the nachos got colder the “nacho cheese” became gritty.When the server asked how our food was I gave my honest opinion they said okay and left. Server was on top of refilling the other person’s lemonade. They said the lemonade was pretty good!Total bill for Nachos, taquitos, one craft beer, and lemonade was $48 and change. Left a tip because the service was great about the refills.Customer service was a 3.4 Food a 1 at best.

The food was VERY average at a very high cost. The beans were not good for bbq beans. BBQ sauce was average. Meat wasn’t fresh. Altogether not terrible but definitely wouldn’t recommend or go again.

The waitress was amazing. No complaint about the service. It was a Thursday night absolutely nobody in the place. I think we were the only tableVery disappointed with the food. Don't order the wings. They are so overcooked you can't eat them. The ribs were okay. Cooked perfectly but no flavor. No season no bark. Not worth the moneyIf this is what Kansas City Barbecue is, I don't want any more of it LOL.By the looks of the place I was expecting some really good food. Definitely was let down.. it looked amazing but it wasn't. An A for plate presentation LOL but a d for taste

My wife and I were sorely disappointed in the food. We both got the z man. Myself got the brisket and my wife the chicken. Being from out of town we remembered how much we love Joes. It’s nothing like Joes Bbq. Bland, overcooked, didn’t hit the spot at all. Fries were decent. Staff seemed like they hated their job. Especially the hostess, she was the opposite of Cheerful. Also got the Mac n cheese. TERRIBLE. Unfortunately wouldn’t recommend. Cool atmosphere though.
