This is one of the best BBQ places around Kansas City. It is up there with Arthur Bryants and Gates. The food is good, although they seemed to run out of fries each time we went. Everybody has always seemed to enjoy whatever we get there, be it the ribs or some kind of sandwich. The most recent time I went, I got a ham sandwich, and I could maybe eat half of it. Probably the best BBQ anywhere! But don't do what we did and go just before a Royals game. We ended up needing to wait over an hour for our food, but it was worth it! We got the beef burnt ends.

The menu on the wall need an upgrading. I almost left but the men behind the counter were helpful. But seemed as if they weren't sure what they served. The baked bean was a dark bowl of dark brown sugar and molasses. Very little beans. The meat had a smoked flavor I could've done in my own little kitchen. I won't be back. I really had a taste for BBQ now I have to let it go for a while. Sorry LCs I'm not a fan. 3 stars overall.
