This is a must visit BBQ place in Lawrence. The food was fantastic and the portions were generous. We got the food to go since there was only 1 uncovered outside seating area and it was extremely hot out.
I originally left my all 5 star review as a placeholder to come back and tell the truth. And the truth is... they deserve all 5 stars.
We arrived before the KU football season kickoff game at lunchtime with a party of 4. We were immediately greeted and seated. Once our 4th arrived, we didn't have to wait long to order at all.
Our waitress was very nice and polite, kept check on us, and our drinks were never empty.

The food was very good and you will fill up. The service was also good. I would recommend going there.
