John Brown's Underground is a highly recommended cocktail bar known for its rotating menus of unique and delicious drinks. The staff is praised for their friendliness and ability to explain drink tastes, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The bar is a great option for those with dietary restrictions, as all allergens are clearly marked on the menu, and non-alcoholic options are available. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a nice escape from college bars. Visitors often enjoy flavorful mixes like the espresso martini, which features a flavorful frothy top, and the old fashioned, which, despite initial skepticism, is so good it makes guests want another.

The atmosphere is relaxed, with a lot of cozy little areas. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and they even accommodate guests with children by offering tasty mocktails.
