A great place stop over. The Jayhawker is a fun place for dining.
Overall, excellent dining experience. Highly recommend visiting during Easter or Mother's Day brunch offerings. Atmosphere matches a fine dining restaurant and the staff is very well trained and welcoming. My dish during my last visit was undercooked but the staff and Chef went the whole nine yards to make sure it was perfect. It came out missing half the portion that was undercooked, but it tasted amazing. Must recommend place for hosting visiting family or friends.
Aaron was amazing. Good place to come visit when you in Lawrence.

The Jayhawker serves excellent food, with perfectly cooked fries that are crispy and delicious. The shepherd's pie special, made with fresh ground lamb and fresh ingredients, is a standout dish. The attentive service and nice atmosphere make for a pleasant dining experience. The restaurant offers specials created by Chef Mark, and reservations are recommended for groups. Overall, The Jayhawker is well worth a visit.
