“A great small city "neighborhood" bar. The Owners care about the presentation of the bar so it's always clean and in good shape. The bartenders are attentive and friendly. They know everybody's name and if it's somebody new, they ask. Lots of room to social distance and an outdoor space. Several tv's for sports and two pool tables. It's an easy going place to visit.“

“Great Place all around, Very friendly staff & regulars. Indoor back room smoking area with TV's, Out side out back area. COLD draws, pool tables, old style Country music. Well worth the stopping in. Looking for a NO pressure place to chill after a long day this IS the place. I stop in when I'm in the area as much as I can.“

“We picked Public at the Brickyard to see the Monterrey Jack band play again and because we love the atmosphere/decor here. They did not disappoint!!! The bonus was great food and attentive service by our waitress! We always enjoy the rosemary and garlic homemade fries. Tried the Jerk chicken pizza special and pretzels and beer cheese as well. All were delicious!“

“Nice enough little hole in the wall. Smells like super fresh coffee for which they serve a small selection of tasty local pastries/muffins, that are also; "super fresh". Suprisingly, it has an impressive alcohol selection for it's size. Moreover, the absolute, perfect spot to PHD test the; 'Dunning-Kruger' effect!!!!! ???✌️“

“Mordecai is a good place to listen to live bands no problem with that.. but when the person answering the phone doesn't know when bands are playing that's the problem they're not very well informed evidently and they're not very courteous over the phone I would rate them like a 2 for PR and 5 for music...“

“I can't say enough good things about the stop! People are lovely, staff is very personable and quick, and the karaoke DJs work hard to make sure everybody who requested to sing gets too! Plus the patio is a nice spot to just chill and play corn hole. Drink prices are reasonable! I've made some genuine friends there, which I can't say have had luck with anywhere else.
Bar is small though so on nights where it gets busy it can feel a bit claustrophobic at times but hey, that's what the patio is for and being around so many people is how I made my friends to begin with so I can't complain! 💓💓💓“

“I love the location there are two fire pits, and they have live music with a guitarist that could sing.
We visited 1868 after being at Prost Germanfest for a progressive dinner .
We sat near the fireplace and met people around us and talked
We actually started out at a table and moved over to the firepit
then we ordered dessert which was a charcuterie of chocolate cake and nuts and assorted fruits and chocolate covered strawberries.
We had a calm and relaxing time talking and listening to the music.
My fiancee bought a cigar off the list and they provide lighters and cutters and trays.

“MY FAVORITE BAR! BC's Bar and Grill absolutely oozes personality. It's a low key gem with super friendly customers and staff with cheap drinks and good food.It's a place where everyone knows everyone and by the end of your night you will have likely been adopted into the family. When I walk in, my beer is either actively being poured before I order it, or it's already waiting for me when I walk up. The people I've introduced to BC's have mostly become regulars themselves.I mostly go for Karaoke and it's an awesome time, the sound is good and the environment is typically party like. Nothing crazy just everyone having an great time. I like it there so much that I had my engagement party there.BC'S is a true melting pot. My go to spot. "Sometimes you wanna go, where everybody knows your name"“

“Was an impromptu stop and had a blast. Owner was wonderful and very welcoming and accommodating!!! We had the best time. Head out to the old annex at harry and woodlawn and show them some love. He makes his own pickles that are delish and infuses vodka. YUM!!!“

“The drinks were delicious. The food....the quality was great, however the cost was way too high for what was given (the charcuterie board). We didn't know what anything was, except the obvious (cheese, pickles, green beans). I'll be back for the drinks. The food.....did I mention drinks?“
