“We have been going to the Las Vaquitas Mexican Restaurant since Caesar and Connie recruited their family and opened their doors to Derby residents. It’s rare to find a place where the owners are in the kitchen and on the floor making sure every guest feels welcome. The food is incredible and service is professional and friendly. I thought the idea of covering the check of a few of their patrons was a sweet holiday idea. When it happened to us, we were incredibly grateful. Huge thanks to the entire staff for showing their appreciation to a couple of regular customers. Please support this LOCAL restaurant, you will not be disappointed!!!”

“Sey sey me...this Sesame is Sesayummy! It's not the Se(same) as any other Sesamiliar places...We got a lamb gyro wrap with the side salad that another reviewer recommended...She was right...not only about the great tasting gyro, but the side salad was better than Olive Garden with a tangyish sweetish dressing and even pieces of feta cheese and bacon!
I asked the extra friendly fella, Keegan, at the counter if they served tzatziki sauce and he said they didn't specifically have it, but said the tahini sauce they serve is very similar...Not only was it similar, it was awesomer!!!
Our food was brought out to us on a cool heavy silver platter (with real silverware, not plastic) by a smiling and happy to please waitress named Lacey.
I can't wait to go back!”

“The chicken gnocchi soup has tasted odd that last few times ive been in and not in a good way it had a weird tang to it that is never been present and the sweet peach tea have was very watery other wise it was great dinner and atmosphere and our waitress was amazing”

“We placed a mobile order around 6:50 (not really paying attention- our fault). We got there to get our order and they said they were closed. No big deal, I just wanted to make sure my card wouldn’t be charged. Glad they are taking the safety of their employees seriously. Kaylin Knopp was so amazing! She went above and beyond, made sure that my order was canceled in the system and the kitchen. She was so nice and took the time to make sure we were taken care of completely.”

“I stopped by today during what was clearly an incredibly busy rush, and I just have to say how impressed I was with the entire team. Even with a packed drive-thru and nonstop orders, they stayed kind, worked hard, and kept things moving as smoothly as possible.
Unfortunately, I watched a customer yell at the staff and speed away in frustration. It was completely undeserved. The employees handled the situation with professionalism and kept serving everyone else with a positive attitude.

“Having just been from a doctor appointment with lab work done I was very drained and not feeling well. Decided to try here to see if I can feel better and I was very happy with the experience. It was my first time and the staff explained the process well and were very sweet and lovely to chat with. I got the orange creamsicle shake and it was quite tasty. “I believe they have the best chicken strips i have ever had. The breading is light, and the chicken is very tender. Been coming here for years, and haven't had a bad experience yet. Sometimes yes, you can go unnoticed when you seat yourself, and might take a couple of minutes to be recognized.”

“We love Dutch Bros! However today's service was rude!!! The broesta wasn't paying attention and was going to skip us for the car next to us, who came up after us. When we tooted the horn she got hateful with us. We go there at least twice a week. Have never had a rude broesta until today. Needless to say, they didn't get our business today. Should have know to avoid there today after my friend had the same rude experience this morning.”

“My wife made me work late tonight and I was starving. So I called my go to on the way home. I didn’t realize they were about ready to close and I was about 20 minutes away. They stayed open for me so I could pick up my food after hours. Amazing customer service we need more places like this in Derby!!! #PeopleHelpingPeople.

“I use to love the place at Douglas and Hydraulic but due to current situation and Sunday's service we will no longer be back. I'm sorry I loved the friendly environment and service we got but things change so it is time to move on. “Awesome service. Fast service. Friendly professional people working a large scale operation inside a tiny building. Open 24 hours. I constantly thank them for working so hardk am . A drunk person called about why food order was not delivered already and a person really let them have an earful and it was hilarious. This is a place where they work their hearts 💕 out all day and night long. So when the customer asked why the food they ordered wasn't delivered an hour ago when they actually ordered 30 minutes ago and had no patience for much at the time. The person here let them know in a professional, funny way so good I was almost on the floor in tears from laughing.”

“The customer service at the Sandbox is superb! Went out to lunch with the boys and my sister. At the entrance Easton saw they had a grinch drink (but it was alcoholic 😵‍💫) anyway he wanted a grinch drink. When we sat down we asked the waiter if they could make him a virgin grinch drink. They explained the drink he saw they couldn’t make it virgin but they would make another special grinch drink for him. I completely didn’t expect that but am very grateful that they did that for him, it definitely made his day 💚”
