“We have been going to the Las Vaquitas Mexican Restaurant since Caesar and Connie recruited their family and opened their doors to Derby residents. It’s rare to find a place where the owners are in the kitchen and on the floor making sure every guest feels welcome. The food is incredible and service is professional and friendly. I thought the idea of covering the check of a few of their patrons was a sweet holiday idea. When it happened to us, we were incredibly grateful. Huge thanks to the entire staff for showing their appreciation to a couple of regular customers. Please support this LOCAL restaurant, you will not be disappointed!!!”

“Kindle did a great job. The hostess asked how was our day when she walked us to our both, a 1st for me and very impressive. Dining is an experience more than a just meal. This was a very pleasant experience! Our drinks were well made. Tasty and they didn't skimp on the alcohol. The rolls were not hot, but they were different and delicious. The house salad is not iceberg, be aware. The chicken flats were cooked perfectly as was my ribeye steak. I asked for the Aloha marinade. It's was wonderful. It's Red Rock Canyon in Derby. Going back😉”

“Tonite my wife and I ate at Village Inn and had the best meal and service we've received anywhere in more than a year. Our hostess was fun, our waitress was extraordinary and my skillet was perfect' My wifes meal was great and plenty of food for the both of us. Thanks for a great dining experience. “Everything tasted great. Server was awesome. They were swamped on prom night but still kicked butt! Margherita Chicken was well cooked. 🐔Not dry. Well seasoned. Broccoli 🥦was nice and tender but not mushy. Sodas refilled timely.”

“Not sure about atmosphere we use drive thru. The food was awesome. I have not had a pork fritter in year, loved it. The crinkle fries are my favorite style. Definitely will return. Their variety is amazing.”

“We placed a mobile order around 6:50 (not really paying attention- our fault). We got there to get our order and they said they were closed. No big deal, I just wanted to make sure my card wouldn’t be charged. Glad they are taking the safety of their employees seriously. Kaylin Knopp was so amazing! She went above and beyond, made sure that my order was canceled in the system and the kitchen. She was so nice and took the time to make sure we were taken care of completely.”

“I love this little shop! The coffee, teas, and other drinks are delightful and satisfying. They do offer some tasty treats and the gift shop is incredible. There's a tiny table in the back offering a quiet space to chat and they have plenty of parking. Give them a try and you'll be pleased.”

“Love pretty much everything about this place. Friendly staff, nice seating options, karaoke on Fridays, and cold drinks. I can't say much about the food bc we only had fried pickles (which we sent back bc they were crispy crittered). And mozzarella sticks which had been overcooked as well n were basically hollow. It was late night menu but still...otherwise, no complaints!”

“Yesterday my sis in law and I wanted desert so we went to Gambino’s and order the Dutch apple pizza and it was delicious!!! First time having it and it tasted just like apple pie!!! “We love Dutch Bros! However today's service was rude!!! The broesta wasn't paying attention and was going to skip us for the car next to us, who came up after us. When we tooted the horn she got hateful with us. We go there at least twice a week. Have never had a rude broesta until today. Needless to say, they didn't get our business today. Should have know to avoid there today after my friend had the same rude experience this morning.”

“My wife made me work late tonight and I was starving. So I called my go to on the way home. I didn’t realize they were about ready to close and I was about 20 minutes away. They stayed open for me so I could pick up my food after hours. Amazing customer service we need more places like this in Derby!!! #PeopleHelpingPeople.

“I've never had a problem with this location. I typically get a Torta which is always easy and good. When I've gotten burritos, they're worth the 8 to 10 bucks you pay for them. They're always full and big, but sometimes the meat could use more seasoning. Other than that, it's good fast mexican food.”

“The customer service at the Sandbox is superb! Went out to lunch with the boys and my sister. At the entrance Easton saw they had a grinch drink (but it was alcoholic 😵‍💫) anyway he wanted a grinch drink. When we sat down we asked the waiter if they could make him a virgin grinch drink. They explained the drink he saw they couldn’t make it virgin but they would make another special grinch drink for him. I completely didn’t expect that but am very grateful that they did that for him, it definitely made his day 💚”
