My little one loves it, they always treat him nicely and he is always asking for Tacos TJ's the food is great and prices are family friendly. We love it!!!
The new Taco Tjs in Derby has all the same great food and service it has in Wichita, closer to home! Cashiers were knowledgeable, the building was spotless and the food was as fresh as always! We had queso, chips, street tacos, tostadas, a quesadilla and carne asada fries.

The new Tacos TJ in Derby has all the same great food and service it has in Wichita, closer to home. The cashiers were knowledgeable, the building was spotless and the food was as fresh as always. The restaurant is nice, well lit and has a fun atmosphere. It is a large location with room to spread out, so it isn’t as noisy, and it is excellent for groups of all sizes. The service is great, though at times a bit slow and the customer service at the counter and entering could be better, with no greeting. Menu items include queso, chips, street tacos, tostadas, a quesadilla, carne asada fries, the quesabirria quesadilla, chips and salsa, the Birria combo plate and shrimp tacos on flour tortillas. The quesabirria quesadilla is so good and packed with meat. The Birria meat is tender and flavorful, and the shrimp tacos on flour tortillas are the best. The chips are thick and crunchy and were great. The beans and rice were okay, the shells to make tacos with the meat were not great, the cilantro and onions were not enough for even three tacos, and the salsa needs more heat. Overall it was a good experience and this is a new favorite.
