“Amazing restaurant! Food was spectacular! I had the BBQ Mac and Cheese, and it was the best Mac and cheese I've ever had (don't tell my mom). Prices were SUPER reasonable. And only a 20 minute wait during lunch rush hour on a weekday. Also a loud establishment, so if you're looking for somewhere quiet for a date night then this is not the place. Although they have outdoor seating which may prove to be better for that reason.“

I’ve had the pad Thai, pad see ew, Tom yum, egg rolls, crab rangoon, chicken stir fry, beef jerky with sticky rice. All amazing! “Discovered Metro Bistro several years ago. I’m from Topeka & come to Andover/Wichita frequently & Metro Bistro has become a favorite! “Went to Wichita for work and looked up places to eat in Wichita then NuWay came up. Upon arriving the parking lot was packed and that was a good sign. Love the counter service and had an original burger with bacon, fries, and onion rings. Onion rings were amazing! Root beer also amazing and tastes great in the hot weather! So glad I went here and the service was great and the place is nostalgic! When in Wichita this is a must!“

“Felipe’s Jr. is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Wichita and definitely one of my regular go-to spots. It’s family-owned, consistently good, and they’ve got a huge menu with plenty of excellent options.

I’ve tried a lot of different things here over the years. The carnitas are outstanding, the birria tacos are excellent, and the Monterrey's are another favorite. Most of the time, though, I go with the beef enchiladas smothered in chili con carne along with whole beans. Their chili con carne is especially good, and both the whole beans and charro beans are excellent.

The restaurant is spacious, clean, well maintained, and the service has always been friendly and efficient. It’s also very family-friendly, with plenty of room, a kids’ menu, and easy parking.

If you’re looking for consistently great Mexican food, generous choices, and a comfortable family-run restaurant, Felipe’s Jr. is absolutely worth a visit. Five stars from me.“
