“Discovered Metro Bistro several years ago. I’m from Topeka & come to Andover/Wichita frequently & Metro Bistro has become a favorite! Their service is friendly & efficient, the chef is amazing & dishes are different than any other restaurant. Love the music & unique atmosphere. Highly recommend! 5 Stars for sure! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“I am a fan of Rio. Always a good go to when you are on the Andover strip. Drinks are great and I only ever get the fajitas which are really good and you get way more than one person can consume. Family always gets all kinds of other dishes and they are always delicious as well. Food is great, service is even better.“

I’ve had the pad Thai, pad see ew, Tom yum, egg rolls, crab rangoon, chicken stir fry, beef jerky with sticky rice. All amazing! “Ordered online and went in to pick it up but it wasnt ready. As others have said in reviews if you order online it's not ready when you get there. I would assume they do this on purpose because it's sushi and so the raw fish is not just sitting around and stuff. The employee was very friendly, apologized and added an extra roll for the wait. The sushi was very good as was the tempura cheesecake. I will definitely be back again.“

“Really great experience. I have never been before, was thoroughly explained the menu and how they've been open for over 50 years. The fried rice was phenomenal as well as the chicken katsu and the chicken teriyaki. Egg roll was really good. I will for sure be back.“

Many of us didn’t experience the ‘50s, but diners are apart of the American landscape that chances are you have great memories in a ‘50s themed diner, or at least relate to it as a symbol of American culture. “Felipe’s Jr. is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Wichita and definitely one of my regular go-to spots. It’s family-owned, consistently good, and they’ve got a huge menu with plenty of excellent options.

I’ve tried a lot of different things here over the years. The carnitas are outstanding, the birria tacos are excellent, and the Monterrey's are another favorite. Most of the time, though, I go with the beef enchiladas smothered in chili con carne along with whole beans. Their chili con carne is especially good, and both the whole beans and charro beans are excellent.

The restaurant is spacious, clean, well maintained, and the service has always been friendly and efficient. It’s also very family-friendly, with plenty of room, a kids’ menu, and easy parking.

If you’re looking for consistently great Mexican food, generous choices, and a comfortable family-run restaurant, Felipe’s Jr. is absolutely worth a visit. Five stars from me.“

“My first time in this evening and i was very impressed. The waiter explained several dishes and recommended a few items as well. We chose the calamari which was huge and not chewy at all. Very nice! Also artichoke dip. I loved the pita breadbut wasn’t a fan of the chip it was super hard and i couldn’t really bite through it. Otherwise it was also fantastic. I opted for that trio kabob with mushroom risotto and veggies which were cooked perfectly. The brandy sauce and peppercorn something or other weren’t my favorite and i’m glad i chose them on the side. However the kabobs were cooked perfectly and the steak was so easy to chew. Kudos to the staff for keeping the place super clean and organized and the kitchen crew for making some amazing dishes this evening!“

“My food was perfect, as was the atmosphere and service!
I didn't think pricing should be grouped with any of those, and I have one complaint about pricing. $3.99 for 4 normal-sized onion rings is ridiculous. Most of the side dishes are bottomless, but not the premium sides you pay an extra $3.99 for.
I have a separate complaint about design. All 8 people at the table thought the premium sides were also bottomless, and it wasn't until my dad asked for more onion rings that we learned the sides you pay more for cease to be bottomless.
If there is a place on the menu that informs customers that premium sides are limited to, say, four onion rings, then it needs to be more prominent.

I'm still giving a 4 star score, because I don't think these two complaints should cost 2 entire stars. I found everything else about our visit to be wonderful, and the serving staff are the best.“
