“The staff were extremely happy and helpful. I come to this area several times a year from Dallas to visit family. The food here was tasty, hot(temp) and spicy enough for this Texan. I got the sampler plate and it was twice as much as I could eat. My grandson(teen) barely finished his chimichanga. We will be back and with a larger group.“
“It was nice to have a person at the counter. They do have 2 kiosks for ordering but also a live person. May not mean much to most people but being old school I prefer a person. Kiosks takes a ton of time, size of drink frys pickle onion. If I order #1 that's what I want. Store was clean and fast service.“
“Love, love, love Poblanos. I've been eating their fabulous rice bowls since they had their first location on W. Central many years ago. I'm sure the rest of their food is excellent too, but I love, love, love their rice bowls and choice of ingredients - white or brown rice, beef (or chicken or other protein), sauteed veggies, cheese, cilantro, black olives, peppers and choice of 5 salsas varying in heat level (i choose the middle one which has a little heat but not too much.) . Be sure to have them put lots of extra broth from the meat on your bowl. I had a rice bowl at Fuzzy's the other day and it doesn't come close to the delicious rice bowls at Poblanos. I'd never order one of theirs again.“
“Too loud, tables were sticky. Some tables were separated by a glass and we could see the other family. A little cute girl kept interrupting us by waving, hitting the glass. Etc. They need to put a poster or something to make it more private.“
“I’ve been twice, both time had different burgers. Incredible flavor and extremely juicy! Atmosphere is like a family. I got to meet the owner Jeremy, you can tell he has a passion for great food and loves his city! If you haven’t been here, you are missing out!!!“
“Kinda wierd and inconsistent ordering the one out east gives you a buzzer to go pick your food up from the counter but the one out west brings it to you but I digress the food is good and actually on the cheaper side you can easily eat here for 10 or 12 bucks and I tried 1 of each of all their tacos and I would say the best was the shrimp one.“
“Right price and great rice ? your going to be pleased with the food and drinks especially the great atmosphere ? be sure to tip the amazing wait staff and be sure to have an awesome ? cool refreshing house margarita it's surely to make for a fun delightful trip out for family or even just the two out on the town for a great experience.“
“This place is the best Mexican restaurant in town, the place is spotless clean, the atmosphere is amazing, the staff members are very professional, knowledgeable, attentive, friendly and more. The flavors of the food are exquisite. This place is my to go place when I have friends from out of town, when I have meetings from work, for lunch and / or dinner when I don't want to cook. It is definitely one of my favorite restaurants. Recommend 110% to everyoneWheelchair accessibility: They definitely have the biggest handicap parking section wich is amazing“
“We haven't been out to eat in quite a while and my wife was craving choripollo.. they definitely made a delicious and worth the money plate of food. We were very satisfied with the way the food was prepared and will definitely recommend. 5 ⭐“
“This is without question the best Mexican restaurant I have been to, and I’ve been to a lot. The food is amazing, as are the servers. Family owned and run. The people are personable and wonderful. That’s why we go several times a week. And Oh by the way, they make their own tequila. It’s the best!Kid-friendliness: Family atmosphere.“
“They were very friendly! They were very attentive to the customers there. The food was very good. I ordered tacos de carné al pastor. Very filling tacos are the perfect size! My boyfriend got a torta and he loved it! He says it was Delicious one of the best he has had eating out. We will definitely be going there again!“
“This is the best fast Mexican food in Wichita, no other considerations to be made. Their carne asada burrito is just the best thing for the money in the city. The breakfast burritos and quesadillas also are next level. You really cannot go wrong by eating here.“
“One of my favorite places to grab something quick. Affordable and delicious. I recommend the Taco salad. The only issue I have with the store is the accuracy of the orders. More than half the time, literally, I have received my order without items, without silverware, or made wrong. The good news is, no matter what they give you it tastes great even if it wasn't what you ordered.“
“It’s always a hit and miss with the carne asada, it is good when it’s either fresh or reheated properly same for the rice. The horchata is great. Today the girl at the drive through window was not in a good mood seemingly this is the first time I experienced this. About $25.00 for my one person order. From placing the order to having it handed to you is very quick, 4-6 minutes.“
“I had an incredible experience tonight; a huge shout out to the Shift Manager - Shayla, her Awesome Crew of Ladies - Lesa, Alexis, Royaltii…and the Cook Dijour, Michael.I travel the country abroad, and I’ve eaten at many Qdobas along the way; but I have to admit that this group of Ladies have made my night a most enjoyable one, and I will be back when I return to Wichita, KS…for sure!Well done Regional Manager; you have a winner here, and I’m sure that I’m not the only patron who values Quality Customer Care…and who recognizes the impressive chemistry that this Group shares together.“
“Love Taco Tico. We live in an area where it doesn't exist. So we were happy to stop in for lunch. As always the food was fresh and tasty. Not authentic but a familiar place. Tasted like home.Wheelchair accessibility: Was pleased to see several wheelchair access tables at this location.“
“Everything is great, except for the chips.Even when I ask for ones from the back, they are cold and stale.I don't understand how they can be cold when they seem to be sitting underneath a heat lamp. The scooping station could be a little bit more tidy.“
“This restaurant has a nice vibe and the staff were really nice during our visit. Upfront it seems like the food is overpriced, but the portions are huge. I recommend either sharing a meal or planning on taking half of your food home since they give you so much. I probably could have split my meal into three portions. As for the taste of the food, it was only alright.“
“Just ordered the Carne burrito and was it fast. The meat is plentiful and delicious. No chunks of fat in this burrito and it is incredibly tender. It came with guacamole, pico de gallo, and Carne Asada on what I can only guess is a homemade tortilla. The gentleman at the counter was quiet, but very nice, and it looks like a good place to relax. This looks like an authentic hole in the wall taco joint with a full bar. It was very clean, including the bathroom.“
“Really good food, exceeds it's competitors easily. We tried 3 burritos, the super nachos, and a deluxe quesadilla. Nachos & quesadilla were great. Burritos--we did carne asada/Cheeto/chorizo. Would not get the chorizo again as it's not spicy & lacks a really flavor with a lot of plain potatoes taking up the substance. The other two were great though. Will be back!“
“The East Wichita OTB in Bradley Fair, on Rock and just south of 21st Street. This is my favorite location of the chain and I praise every bite I’ve had here. The chips and salsa are my favorite in town and start off the meal with a bang. The entree served was a fantastic beef burrito covered in queso and came with delicious rice and beans, along with an awesome red, white, and blue margarita. With a fairly priced lunch menu and exceptionally kind service, this most recent trip here was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend this On The Border to all of Wichita.“
“Authentic food and absolutely the best service from door to table to check. Impressive menu too! If you have the opportunity to eat in Andover and you are craving authentic mexican, this is one place you must check out. Delicious sums it all up!“
