“Hidalgo Bar and Grill is an excellent new Mexican restaurant, and the food and drinks were top notch! We loved the variety on the menu, and all of our meals were delicious - the tableside guac and margaritas were a hit! We will definitely return!“
“I ordered 2 tacos and a chicken Quesadilla all were excellent, the problem I had was listening to the employees talking and everywhere word was a cuse word. This needs to be addressed, when families come in the children don't need to hear this, I don't want to hear it either.Other than that everything was great.“
“Something is amiss... Taco Bell Augusta has always been a taco bell. I think they hired someone recently who cares. I always order my burrito grilled and until today it never came that way. I don't know why I bother but I do. If it happens twice I will have a tiny heart attack. And yesterday I got a taco that had not sit. It was crunchy after the drive home. Also, more than 3 slivers of cheese. Clutch my pearls, fresh food! Actually good food. Usually I am just too tired to cook or complain BUT I will show up to say thank you. And yeah. I eat way too much bell. And thank you! Whoever is new there, you have made 2 of my days this week.“
“Update 2024: Service was excellent, food was wonderful, what else can I say? Just want to add a reminder that if you're ever down in Elk County, remember to try Sweet and Spicy on Hwy 99, South side of Howard Kansas. Best Mexican/American food in four counties!“
“Hands down THE BEST FOOD I have tasted since I’ve been in Kansas. It’s a small restaurant but such good atmosphere and the service is great! The food was amazing and made fresh, so it’s a little wait but it’s worth every minute you wait. I had the Hawaiian Burger and my husband had the Torta Al Pastor and they came out delicious. We will be going back for more! Thank you to the cook Felipe who made everything to perfection and gave us such great service!“
“We tried them yesterday for lunch and on the whole, it was average. The salsa and chips were really good but the rest of lunch wasn’t anything to really go back for. The service wasn’t that good as we were never checked on as I see other reviews stating the same. The place was not busy. Several tables stayed dirty for some time after patrons had left.Would I go back? Maybe but there was nothing that made me feel like I have to go back and try something else.“
“It's premium fast food taco awesomeness. The El Dorado location is clean and always very friendly. When traveling thru, it's a quick and reliable stop for tasty eats on the cheap. Beef enchiladas are simple goodness. The basic corn tacos are inhale-able and perfect sized.“
“Grab your friends and grab some Taco Bell. You get what you ask for! And I particularly like the kids at the window. They seem to enjoy their time together and the rapport spills out the drive up window. Of course my kids frequent more than me. But when I’m on the go and only have time for a quick grab, I go here. Clean and friendly!“
“Coming from Texas I love Mexican food we have lived in Kansas 4 years now and every Mexican Restraunt we tried was a dissapointment. This was our first time to eat at Candlies and we have now found our Mexican food place we will return to over and over. They were very busy but the service was great and the food was the best we have had in years. I had a chili rellono which I am very picky about and it was just what I expected. The avacado was also great which I am very picky about. My husband had cheese steak fajitas and he said they were very good, he ate every bite, which he never does. Then we had flan for dessert it was good too, I thought the carmal sauce was a little thin but the flavor was great. We now have a great Mexican place to take our friends too when they visit.“
