“We have been going to the Las Vaquitas Mexican Restaurant since Caesar and Connie recruited their family and opened their doors to Derby residents. It’s rare to find a place where the owners are in the kitchen and on the floor making sure every guest feels welcome. The food is incredible and service is professional and friendly. I thought the idea of covering the check of a few of their patrons was a sweet holiday idea. When it happened to us, we were incredibly grateful. Huge thanks to the entire staff for showing their appreciation to a couple of regular customers. Please support this LOCAL restaurant, you will not be disappointed!!!“

“Just got home from a wonderful lunch with Sr Citizen friends. Rather warm day & we arrived prior to opening. They suggested we wait inside until they open, which we did. We were served drinks & chips while we waited. I told the waitress I would not be eating because of temporary, dental, dietary restrictions. She took the time to suggest a scrumptious, custom-made, shredded chicken soup. Thanks for all you did for our little group & making us feel at home. You are some very special folks. “I've never had a problem with this location. I typically get a Torta which is always easy and good. When I've gotten burritos, they're worth the 8 to 10 bucks you pay for them. They're always full and big, but sometimes the meat could use more seasoning. Other than that, it's good fast mexican food.“

“This is probably the best taco bell in town. Their food is always fresh and they always season the nacho fries very well! Today I went through and waited a longer period of time and they gave me my fries for free! Im not sure if it was because of the wait, but it was still a very nice gesture!“
