“Came to visit my son at Emporia State today. He chose Silvias for lunch - and I am so grateful! A kind welcome when we ordered! We got his favorite birria tacos, some tacos al pastor, and then the amazing Papas Locas to share!!I can't wait to come back again!Oh, the piña and jamaica drink were delicious too!Hot sauce had a delicious flavor!“
“Plenty of Mexican restaurants in Emporia but this one uses various sauces that are unique to this area including interesting herbs and spices. Though they look pretty much alike there are subtle differences. We enjoyed our meal and will be back.“
“Absolutely in love with this restaurant. My go to recommendations include the pork (Al pastor) super burrito, the chicken (pollo) torta, the tongue (lengua) tacos, the barbacoa quesadilla, and the horchata. I frequently eat here. They are always delicious, and I've never seen them have a bad day.“
“Hey! This place is great! Remember that food truck attached to the space on the north side of commercial? They have a home, now. This was the freshest, most will presented Mexican food I've had in town. The restaurant was small and clean. They take pride in the food and it shows. You should definitely give this place a shot. Michoacan. Only complaint - they gotta water the salsa for the native Kansans. Oh Midwest! Get some heat! Spicy is good!!!“
“The Steak Quesadilla was great the tomato wedges & lettuce was a nice touch, I just wish I had a tomato for every bite! Their green chili (sauce) was the most authentic I've had while dining out. The place only seats 2-4 tables so I'd suggest getting a Togo order if you show up at lunchtime. Very friendly to my construction crew and I also very patient!“
“The Daily Station ROCKED MY WORLD this weekend. I ordered the Birria Pizza and a Quesadilla to share with my wife and son. The overall quality was fantastic. The flavors were bold and rich. The menu was simple, but had a nice variety and the service was great. I felt genuinely welcomed and appreciated from the moment we walked up, until the moment we left.There's also a disc golf basket in the lot!I'll definitely be back next time I'm ripping discs in Emporia.“
