I ordered the breakfast tacos and they neglected to tell me they were out of taco tortillas so they made it like a burrito and grilled it in a pan. I didnt want a burrito but was told it's the same when they delivered it. I can promise it was not the same. I asked for more salsa to attempt to make it more taco like and they charged me 1.40 for the pico that looked old as hell. My son ordered his burger without onions and it came covered in onions. They over charge for everything! My daughter got a kids meal but her small chocolate milk cost 3.50. That's crazy but my fault for not checking. I had to beg for refills, straws and water.

Since they opened Derby location, we would eat breakfast 2-3 times a week. Last 2 trips have been atrocious. Sat in booth for 15 mi utes I acknowledged, while they cleaned off tables around us, chatted among themselves ignoring paying customers. Went to front counter to address situation, 2 waitresses were mid conversation with each other, one looked at me for 20 seconds before acknowledging me, then walked over. Upon me addressing issues, they just looked at me. Will never spend money there again if they cannot be bothered to do their job. Maybe 15 people in restaurant both times.

Started out as a great breakfast. Went back to get to go orders for our kids and the order was wrong. We take it inside and the lady behind the bar was very rude. She implied we placed the order wrong and when we told her we didn’t she checked again and realized she put the order in wrong. Never apologized and acted like it was such a hassle to fix it. As my husband was talking and explaining to her what was missing she deliberately walked off and ignored him. She finally comes back and just gives us the food and says nothing. We did notify the manager. We are driving home and the order is still wrong. Very disappointed after having such a great first experience. Most likely will not return because of her.

This was the worst food I've had in Derby by far. I got the B&G Gone Wild and the Biscuits were so hard I couldn't eat them. Even with them soaked in gravy, they were like rocks. My wife got the Carnitas Queso Skillet that was disgusting. I would expect for $40, the food would be at the very least edible. Enjoy the tip cause that is the last time we will be eating Jimmy's.

Super friendly and outgoing staff, fast and tasty food! I was in town for the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, and needed a solid breakfast before competing on the mandolin. This place knocked it out, and the staff even let me play some bluegrass for them! Thanks guys!

The new cook is absolutely terrible! She cannot cook a simple pancake. The last two times I was there, she undercooked them (served raw batter). I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited a few weeks before returning. This time, the food was so terrible that the Manager, Rhonda, comped the whole ticket after agreeing that the pancakes were raw and the omelette had NO toppings. YES, they forgot to add toppings. It’s truly disgusting and embarrassing when the Food Manager, JJ, is too embarrassed to come and face the table and explain the situation after he saw what was served to us. I requested to talk to him about it. Not even an apology from him.

Village Inn has proven to be more consistent and that’s shame.

There over an hour. Biscuits old and hard. Waitress almost hit me in the face with my plate because she totters when she walks. She can't do her job but God bless her she's trying. Lots of people speaking to the manager that day. Have never had a good experience there.

I really enjoy when we visit. The food is always hot and fresh, the restaurant is clean and the staff is cheerful and friendly. A big thank you to Audra for being a wonderful server today. You made our morning brighter!

The food was horrible, wife got cold bacon withe her breakfast, the hashbrowns in my skillet breakfast were cold and stale. FYI jimmys, people actually like their breakfast cooked fresh and not get food that was pre-cooked and had been sitting in a warmer. Our server was great, that was about the only thing good.

I use to love the place at Douglas and Hydraulic but due to current situation and Sunday's service we will no longer be back. I'm sorry I loved the friendly environment and service we got but things change so it is time to move on. I recommend this place to everyone just don't make a complaint about service in person because things change after that. I found out being honest doesn't always pay off. thank you again.

Funny thing is they ran out of OJ at 9am. Overall the service was great and food prep was good. No real issues except running out of the second most popular drink.
