I had dinner last night and can’t wait to go back! We stayed for 3 hours and the service remained fantastic throughout! We had the phyllo wrapped feta which was the best thing I’ve ever eaten! The bruschetta and ragout were equally amazing, and their fattoush salad was also one of the best I’ve ever had! This is now my favorite place to eat and I can’t wait to use the patio when it’s warm! Shoutout to our waitress who hung with us for three hours! She was so sweet and kind the whole time and never rushed us! Will be back soon!!

I’ve had the pleasure of dining here twice. The first time was a weekday evening and the second time was for a weekday lunch. I’ve tried the butternut squash lasagna and the beet salad. Both were excellent, with my favorite being the lasagna. I highly recommend and will frequent again.

This place was very good! We went last night! I wasn’t expecting it to be up-scale (I didn’t do my research) but I was very impressed! I ordered the filet! They cooked it perfect temp and it was very tender! It was topped with mushrooms. I hate mushrooms but the way they were cooked I ate every single one. The plating was beautiful! We really love good food. I can say of all the places I’ve been in the area including Wichita and I’ve gone to a lot of them, this is in top 10. I’ve spent more on plates that did not have as good presentation or quality. This place is right on spot. They also have a really good selection of cocktails and martinis!

Food was delicious!! Very flavorful and excited to come back and try other items. Our waitress was seemingly not as knowledgeable with wine or some of the different items on the food menu, but if she didn't know, she went to ask which was awesome and we appreciated her efforts! I think everyone at our table had something different off the main course list and no one had any complaints, as to why we all want to come back and try other items!

Wonderful experience. Everything was beautifully presented and yummy. Service was excellent. Pic of Falafel wrap, side of hummus was swapped as we ordered hummus appetizer. I didn't get a pic of the house burger. Pics of dessert were cake with figs & (can't remember the name) and Baklava cheesecake. This place will keep you coming back for more.

Ok ok hear me out. Didn’t get an opportunity to snap any photos because we literally inhaled the food but y’all, this is a gem for Derby, KS! Please go show this restaurant some love! We were there for dinner on a Friday night, and when we left at 8, it was pretty empty which is so sad! We ordered the hummus, shrimp almondine and phyllo wrapped feta as appetizers and goodness! All were delicious. My favorite was the shrimp. For entrees, we ordered a cup of the Turkish Lentil Bisque which wasn’t bad, the roasted chicken and the brined pork chop. All were phenomenal!

Horrible and overrated. Over price menu and the room echoes with noise. No menu for children either. Needless to say my husband and I left still hungry. KABOBS in Wichita is so much better food and atmosphere. Just grossly overrated. $$$$!!

This is our first time at Layali in Derby. I'm not sure where to place it in dining. It's above an Olive Garden but not quite a George's or Vora's, yet. The food was very good and priced probably about right. The live music was a nice touch and very good, overall the place is a bit loud just because the space is on the smaller side. Overall it was a good experience and I'm glad to see a place like this open in Derby. A great place for Derby if you want to get dressed up and have a nice dinner and drinks.
