Our waitress was a girl named Ashlyn, who did an awesome job of waiting on me and my friend, the manager on duty was Lily, who came over and checked on me twice, just to make sure everything was great and I'm telling you, I know, I've heard some bad things. And I've heard some good things about this place just depends on what time of the day you catch them and how busy they are, but my food was extremely wonderfully cooked with love, everything that we ordered was just right. They could've done a better job if I'd gone in the kitchen and did it myself kudos to the crew at Morgan's
Of course i had the filet with a baked potato and honey glazed carrots, and our appetizer was the Bang bang shrimp, and it was Bang bang. Let me tell you, the food was awesome. The appetizer was even better, thank you a very satisfied customer.

We went to eat there on a Monday. The place looked nice and was a little busy for a Monday, which was understandable since it had just opened. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. After placing our order, my family waited around 35 minutes for our food, which wasn’t too bad.
I ordered a medium 14-ounce ribeye, but it came out well-done and dry. I sent it back and received a replacement about 15 minutes later. Unfortunately, the second steak was very rare on the inside and heavily seared on the outside. At that point, I decided not to send it back and wait even longer to eat.
Overall, the wait staff and atmosphere were good, but the food quality and cooking were average at best.

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Morgan’s Steakhouse in Derby! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From start to finish, everything was outstanding. We kicked things off with the spinach and artichoke dip, which was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor—perfect for sharing. We ended up splitting everything, and it made the experience even better because every dish was worth tasting. The steak was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor—and the salmon was absolutely delicious, charred, flaky, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor as well. The sides were just as impressive: loaded potatoes that were indulgent and satisfying, fried okra that was crispy and seasoned just right, and mac and cheese that was creamy, comforting, and downright addictive. We also enjoyed a Caesar salad—the dressing had a little spicy kick to it, but it tasted amazing and added a unique twist. To top it all off, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and kind, making us feel right at home the entire time. Amazing food, great service, and a warm atmosphere—Morgan’s Steakhouse is an absolute must in Derby. We will definitely be back!

My husband & I Absolutely wonderful server. Everyone was Very kind, Knowledgeable and didn't rush us as we looked at the menu. Everyone spoke to us and they very friendly. They have a warm Atmosphere.The food was absolutely amazing. We did not have to wait that long at all. Definitely be back 10 out of 10 (Ashton) was Amazing 👏 👏

The customer service is legendary. It was to a level you honestly don’t see anymore. I had ordered a 12oz ribeye that was supposed to be medium rare. It came out medium well but the waitress noticed it was overcooked without me having to say a word. She apologized and told me the would fire up a new steak for me. Anywhere else and you have to say something and send it back yourself.
The manager then came over to apologize as well. The manager brought out the new steak herself to make sure it was OK. We were taken care of with some comps that we honestly didn’t need to make us happy but the action of it showed how dedicated they are to our happiness.
The steak was great and so were the kebobs. We will definitely be back!

The atmosphere was nice but the 4 person booths were small. All of the staff was wonderful! Queso and chips were very good! Rolls were good but burnt. I had the enchilada, my advice is don’t order this at a steakhouse. Everything else was bland. Steaks were cooked appropriately but not flavorful. Kids chicken was not good. We wouldn’t go back because we didn’t like the food overall but had a good experience.
