5 Best Bars in Dodge City

“5 stars all the way. Long Branch Salon was one of the best stops of the trip. Karen behind the bar was incredible — part bartender, part historian, part entertainer. She even taught us the cancan and somehow made the whole place feel like stepping back into the Old West. She can slide a beer down the bar like something straight out of a movie.

The atmosphere was clean, welcoming, and authentic without trying too hard. Great crowd, great energy, and the prices were surprisingly good too — $5 whiskey shots is hard to beat these days.

If you want a real saloon experience with personality and history, this is the place.“

“Always enjoy the southwest chicken bowl. Good service, could fill up my glass quicker but they were busy. Food was good. Not sure what was in the sweet drinks like sweet tea or the Pina smoothie but it caused me to cough a bunch afterwards. The regular tea was fine.“

“Got the 14oz ribeye with loaded baked potato. Food was delicious, service was decent. Seating is a bit all over the place, but we got lucky with a booth along the edge. Waited a few extra minutes to get water refills and bill, but overall good. I'd go back every once in a while. 9/10“
