I recently visited Tacos El Torito, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was welcomed by the warm, casual atmosphere, which made me feel right at home. The space is cozy and has a genuine, no-frills vibe that makes it clear they focus on one thing: serving fantastic food.
The tacos at Tacos El Torito are some of the best I’ve ever had. I started with the al pastor tacos, and they were perfect—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The meat was tender, and the pineapple added just the right touch of sweetness. I also tried the carne asada, which was equally impressive—grilled to perfection and packed with smoky, charred flavors that paired wonderfully with the fresh salsa and cilantro.
The portions were generous, and the tortillas were fresh and soft—clearly made with care. For a side, I couldn’t resist the elote (Mexican street corn), and it did not disappoint—creamy, smoky, and topped with just the right amount of cheese and chili powder.
The service was fast and friendly, with the staff always ready to make recommendations and ensure we had everything we needed. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality and portion sizes.
If you're in the area and craving authentic, flavorful tacos, Tacos El Torito is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be returning!

WARNING! I got food poisoning from here! I was passing through on my way home from Colorado, ordered the Al Pastor Tacos, I’d been driving all day and this was basically the only thing I ate all day, woke up a 4am with all the symptoms of food poisoning, it’s been 3 days and I’m finally feeling 100% again
Food was good but man it made me so sick, I get it they are a small business, meat is expensive but you can’t be serving old meat or keeping it at unsafe temperatures, BE BETTER
One of the best burgers I’ve had in the city—juicy, messy, and packed with flavor.!!!!!!!

We went to their food truck in the parking lot of the restaurant. Had the barbacoa street tacos. We're so good. Great flavor and reasonable price.
